Hello, welcome to the Camperlance! She is a 1995 Ford F-350 that was up fitted as an ambulance in 1996. It is unsure what year it was retired but it spent its ambulance career in Lake Zurich Illinois. We bought this rig about a year ago and started the conversion. First thing with this conversion is, there is NO BATHROOM or toilet. While camping with her, we always try to book a site relatively close to rest room or showers. We have almost a full kitchen that includes a sink with hot and cold water, a 2 burner gas stove and a mini fridge. Speaking of water, the old girl is up fitted to have 18 gallons of fresh water and a 4 gallon hot water heater. As of this listing we have plans in place to add the amenities of an outside shower using the two back doors. The Camperlance has a shore power hook up with a 30 amp power cable. If you want to camp in a place that allows a generator, we have the cable and a generator for rent as well for an extra charge. If you prefer full off grid camping with no power, you can still do that as the water system, lights and roof vent are all run off 12 volt power that can be charged by running the trucks engine for a little while. For those rainy, hot or cold days, we have a 42 inch TV that sits on a swivel mount that includes a DVD player (non blue ray). If you have cell service we currently have an HDMI adapter for a USB type C. As stated above the Camperlance has a gas stove in the kitchen but for the real outdoors lovers, we have included an itsy bitsy charcoal grill good enough for 2 decent steaks, 4 burgers for a pack to 2 packs of hot dogs. Bring your own Charcoal or use ours. Last but not least...the bed. It's basically a futon. Unhook the safety slide out pieces and pull it out into a full size bed or you can leave it up if you want. This is still very much a never ending project. We are slowly adding and improving things for the Camperlance. As we add and improve, we will update pictures. This Camperlance will be delivered to your location of choosing with no moving allowed (within reason.) We live in the West Salem, WI area and will be renting this for campsites with in a 1 hour radius. If you are looking to do something outside of that, let us know and we can try to accommodate that.
