The Local Area

Llanfaelog is a quiet village on the outskirts of Rhosneigr. Y Bwthyn is next to a footpath that allows a lovely walk down to Maelog lake and onto the Oyster Catcher, a popular restaurant. Rhosneigr has everything needed for the perfect beach holiday, with two expansive sandy beaches and a bustling town between. Grabbing a morning coffee at Cafe Notos, followed by a walk along the beach, is a nice way to start the day. Or there are surfing lessons available from Gecko. It's also a very popular spot for kiteboarding. Mojo's in Rhosneigr serves delicious savoury crepes. Then why not head to Tyn Towyn for a wild swim followed by a sauna at Sauna Bach. A short drive away is Trac Mon, the motor racing circuit, with events taking place year-round and some of Anglesey's best views.
