Guests can also explore the local cider mill, Hogan's Cider Mill and visit nearby nature preserves and state parks.

The estate is two hours from New York City, with the nearest major airport being Bradley International Airport in Hartford, located about 40 miles away. The area is best explored by car, offering easy access to nearby hiking trails, state parks, ski resorts, and the quaint shops and restaurants in nearby towns like New Preston. The property offers free parking on its premises and additional parking next to the barn.
