Beautiful, cosy, little fisherman's cabin. Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was well insulated and kitchen had what we need to make simple meals.

Nothing major but would be nice to have better curtains / blinds as we visited during their midnight sun and light was still shining through

The cabin was so cozy and cute, absolutely loved it. The facilities were great with everything that you needed to stay for several nights. Location was great as it was right on the water, and a short walk to nearby hikes.

The only thing that would have made it perfect is inclusion of some regular cooking consumables, like salt and pepper.

- They told us the walk to the ferry was 30 mins (which is true from reception building), but from cabin to reception was an additional 20 mins walk (at 06:00 in the morning with all our luggage). Not great, since we primarily stayed here because it was close to the ferry. - Kitchen could be better equipped (we didn't have bowls, kitchen towels or salt/pepper/oil) - There is loads of space in the cabin that could be used to put some more comfortable chairs and a TV (although I guess the superior cabins have this)

Maybe the dinning table was a bit small, and I think for 4 people it would have been too small, but for two it was perfect

The view from the cottage was great. Beds and heating were comfortable. Kitchen utilities were modern.

One of the door handles for the toilet was loose enough to come off. A basket for toiletries in the shower would be good.

Cabin was super nice and calm, it is a real rorbuer on the water and we loved it. It is very close to the ferry we needed to take on the next day which was convenient. The hotel looked very nice too, only saw the lobby when we cheched-in/out, but seemed super!

Would be nice to have a late check-out. Price a bit high for the area though, as it is not in any of the major towns in Lofoten.

I am sooooo glad I chose The Tide. The cabin is cozy and warm. Staying inside when there are storms outside makes me feel save and enjoying. And you can see the Northern light right in front of your cabin, if the weather is good (like I am the lucky one). And the most important thing is the landlord is the best in the world! She is sooooo kind and nice! I will definitely comeback again!!!

Great place to stay. The rorbu has new fornitures. All was clean. Even if the snow cover all the roads, the staff cleaned the parking spaces. Fantastic view on the harbour.

The location of the cabinet was very nice, it is close to the ferry port . it is very warm inside and the facilities all are good and complete. The hotel service was amazing, the hosts are so kind and friendly, always here when we need help. highly recommend!

In Lofoten Sørvågen Bay, about 20 to 30 Rorbuers[Independent Family Accommodation] are operating. The Rorbuer-style lodgings in the bay of Sørvågen seem to be the most beautiful in Lofoten. It's like a filming set for Rorbuer. The Tide-Rorbuer serves as both a hotel and a Rorbuer [Independent Family Accommodation] in the Bay of Lofoten Sørvågen. I'm not sure if all 20 or 30 Rorbuers are owned by The Tide-Rorbuer, there are also Rorbuers in different colors. It is a 5minute drive from Reception to Rorbuer. Rorbuer[Independent Family Accommodation] The interior is also beautiful. They are scattered here and there in the bay of Lofoten Sørvågen, resulting in some problems with reception and communication with the rooms. Very nice, beautiful and Rorbuer [Independent Family Accommodation] is the best!

I think its overpriced, we couldn't start smart tv, we would appreciate better equipped kitchen

Our apartment was amazing, great location and very clean. Confortable bed and modern bathroom and kitchen. Staff really kind.

The price is a bit high but all considered is in the standards for the location.

Cosy and very well equipped, also with salt, pepper and baking paper which is quite useful when not staying for long. There is a heated tray very useful to dry wet hiking shoes. Stunning view from the restaurant. Nice hiking trail with lake and waterfall within 15min by foot. Two grocery shops within 5min by foot, open even on sundays.

TV set not in front of the sofa. The cabin consists of 4 adjacent rooms, so noise insulation is not best. Towels cannot dry in the bathroom which remains too wet.
