The apartment was amazing, had everything you could wish for and a beautiful balcony with view over the harbour. All communication with host was great, he even helped us arrange transfer from and to the airport which was much appreciated. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. We absolutley loved staying here and we could not have picked a better place for our stay in Dubrovnik.

Pillows were a bit hard to sleep on. But other than that, there is really nothing to complain about. If you are thinking about booking this, you definitely should.

The location is great. The view and balcony are awesome. The location is perfect.

Breakfast was not included although there was a coffee pot and some coffee in a canister. We enjoyed the great view from the balcony. Attractive bathroom with roomy shower and great water pressure. Comfortable towels and we made good use of the towel warmer since it was cold and rainy for a couple of days. The owner's grandmother who takes care of the apartment was pleasant and accommodating and easy to reach when we couldn't figure out how to turn on the convection 2-burner range top. (Even she had trouble with it.)

We were disappointed in the loft sleeping space, which the description indicated had a low ceiling, but actually one could only kneel in the space to crawl into bed. While we knew that the loft was reached by a spiral staircase, the stair treads are not full steps making it a little dangerous for people who need to get up at night. For us, an older couple, the loft was not a usable space so we ended up sleeping on the pull-out sofa, an uncomfortable alternative and the sheets were too small for the size of the double bed. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed but another frying pan would be appreciated--it seemed that the apartment might be geared to guests who don't do much cooking. Considering the cost of the room, a Keurig or some kind of coffee maker would be appreciated.

This is a very special place. The apartment is located right at the harbor with a beautiful little balcony and an AMAZING view. We saw few other apartments (if any) that boasted this location. The owners were very accommodating, meeting us upon arrival and even allowing us to leave luggage after check-out so that we could tour the town for the day prior to our late afternoon ferry. The room was spotless. Note the small staircase to the loft is a little tricky. We didn't have any issues, but someone very tall or with mobility issues might find it difficult.

The view is incredible over the harbour and out to see, we spent a lot of our time enjoying it on the balcony! Beautifully decorated inside and completely fully equipped for a self catering stay. Location could not be better with all of the shops restaurants on your door step

The bed is not particularly easy to get into as you have to negotiate some narrow steps and then crawl into the bed. However, it was incredibly cosy and the bed was very comfortable once up there!

great apartment for 1-4 people to stay, has a balcony with table and chairs overlook the port. the interior is modern with a new shower and washer if needed. wifi worked great and it’s above the best restaurant, trattoria carmen make a rez there!

it’s the top floor so if you have large baggage beware you’ll have to carry it up the stairs

Catliva offered a perfect stay in Dubrovnik: from the initial warm welcome, the location (in the Old Town, with great views from the balcony - over the Old Harbour, medieval walls and Mt Srd), exquisite design - modern with character, very well equipped and stocked kitchen, everything spotlessly clean. And excellent, helpful communication with hosts throughout our stay.

Incredible views from the room of the Old City, loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by, amazing friendly host, room very clean and lots of unexpected extras, if you forget something its sure to here

the main bed was on the mezzine which was a little difficult to get to, so slept on the bed settee

Everything! Property has a fantastic location with a balcony and view of the Old Town Harbour. I enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony every morning and wine at sunset. Also within walking distance to all tourist sites. There's a great restaurant next to the entrance to the apartment, Trattoria Carmen. I ordered dinner to go and had it on the balcony while enjoying the view. I was met by the host Damjan at the Gate of Old Town and he helped with my bags. That was very nice as I was travelling by myself. The apartment is on the 4th floor but it was not an issue. Host helped with the bags on arrival and arranged for someone to help me bring the bags down at checkout. I very much appreciate this as the latter was at 4am. The apartment is beautifully furnished, great appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine. The loft may be a little short for some people, although I didn't have a problem. Bed was very comfortable. Host was very nice and communication with him was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again. I highly recommend this property!
