I rented two rooms it was 2000 dollars,I felt like for the money the rooms should have been spotless

Clean modern room, interesting old building

The staff assigned my room to someone else. As I (30 y/o solo female) was putting lotion on after my shower, a man walked into my hotel room! I had to explain to him while naked that he needed to go to the desk and get a different room. A few minutes later the front desk called me and briefly apologized “for the inconvenience”, not asking if I was ok or anything, then asked me to come downstairs and put my card on file for some reason, when asked to explain they used hotel jargon that I didn’t understand. I felt very shaken and very unsafe in my room after that. They then gave (I assume) the man who came into my room the room next door. He began screaming obscenities at someone who he had on speakerphone. The walls were so thin that I could hear his every word and her every word. In fact, when he went to the restroom, I could hear farting and splashing in the toilet. I had to ask for a new room; at the desk, the staff did not realize that it was me who the snafu had just happened with. Weird to not recognize that letting a strange man into a single females room might feel super weird and messed up but it didn’t seem like a big deal to them. Spent the rest of the evening on edge. No coffee or breakfast in the morning; town is such a ghost town that there are no real dining options or things to do in the downtown area. I was not really comfortable being outside of the hotel whatsoever. Very expensive weird night.

The Bistro doesn’t represent the cultural value of the Hilton. Discrimination is abound in the Bistro’s staffing and service.
