Thanya Resort was like heaven to us! The property is located directly on the beach of a tiny Ngai island. We were staying in the sea view villa and the sea view was really spectacular! The villa itself is very spacious with a large balcony overlooking sea, sunrises and sunsets. We had more than enough space to store our belongings and the housekeeping made sure that it was sparkling clean everyday. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The beach is beautiful and calm, always clean with an easy to reach coral reef for snorkelling. The pool is good sized. The restaurant serves exceptional breakfast with different choices every day both Thai and continental. Also all our dinners were very fresh and tasty. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly and helpful. The front reception with always friendly, smily and polite Es is a place to go if in need of anything. They always find time to answer all questions and accommodate any need like arrangement of transportation. We found the size of Thanya Resort just perfect. Never crowded but having all the amenities we wanted. I can recommend this place wholeheartedly and we are already planning our return. Thank you Es for great memories!

the resort is located in the best place on the island. it has the largest beaches and an area for free play with the child. nice big swimming pool for kids and adults. possibility of massage, bar and restaurant. no problem with the number of sunbeds. the best resort on the island. much better place to go with a child than Coco cottage.

Absolutely loved this place. Exceeded expectations. The island is paradise and the location is perfect, right on the white sand beach with turquoise sea. so relaxing, plenty of loungers, gorgeous pool, lovely restaurant with good food and very generous breakfast, and cute cabins. staff super friendly, amazing massage, kayaks, snorkelling from the hotel. Now on Koh Lanta and wishing we had stayed longer. really special place and great for families.

Beautiful property and nice, helpful staff. The red curry and larb was very good. The other dishes we tried were okay.

Only good things to say about our stay. We were in one of the top rooms with great views (and the occasional monitor lizard walking past). Room was big and comfortable, breakfast was good, we didn't use the pool but it is a nice option and there were plenty of beach loungers for everyone. It is very nice being at the end of the beach away from the boats of day trippers (saw 4 full boats pull up in front of Koh Ngai Seafood one day).

Had some issues getting a decent wifi signal in our room but they made some adjustments to solve the issue. Laynni thinks the bed is in the wrong place to really take advantage of the views. File that under "very minor concern".

We had a lovely stay at Thanya beach resort. The staff is very nice and helpful. Decent restaurant with very nice food and service. We had a very nice room, which was very comfortable. We were offered a late check out as our transfer to our next destination wasn't until 12:30, that was very kind. The premises are kept very neatly and tidy. There is a very nice reef that is easy accessible at low tide. With high tide it requires a bit of a swim. The resort is very quiet and serene, so if that is what you are looking for, you're at the right spot.

There wasn't anything we disliked, the only thing we might have missed was a little bar area, where we could have little sundowner and enjoy the stunning views at sunset. Also, there just isn't much to do on Ko Ngai. Many hotels/resorts/bars aren't open (yet?) Also dive schools are closed. Possibly a covid aftermath? Maybe it's the time of the year (we stayed in the last week of November) but who knows. We were looking for tranquility and relaxation, so we didn't really mind though, just a heads up.

Love the ease of use for snorkel/kayak equipment. Affordable massages whenever you want, delicious food, beautiful location, amazing wildlife and saw lots of neat fish out at the reef. Hosts/staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodating with getting a boat ride to and from the island, as well as setting up a somewhat pricey shuttle ride from Pak Meng Dock to Baan Khao Sok for our next leg of the journey.

Only one store to buy supplies (albeit at an expensive price), so bring what you may need from the mainland. We forgot sunscreen and got price gouged for a small bottle at the store.

Very friendly, helpful staff; very nice bungalow style room; meters away from fantastic beach; very good snorkeling right off the beach; great place to chill out and watch the world go by; I would stay here again

Amazing location and great staff. It is very quiet and idyllic. Definitely a great place for relaxation! The staff in the reception was very attentive and extremely helpful

The traditional but design with hard wood. Beautiful views from the room out to the beach, ocean and Koh Ma island. The receptionist is a great guy, very pleasant and helpful.

The restaurant closing time is very early 2030h.

Coral reef just offshore is great when the water is calm. Excellent Thai food for dinner at the restaurant!

Breakfast was good when there was soup and/or vegetables. Not available daily. But always eggs, cereal, fruit and toast!

Poor breakfast, limited choice of food, everything closed by 9pm meaning nowhere to buy a beer.

Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice, fresh eggs and pancakes, lovely location dining room seems new. We ate there for lunch and dinner both days of our stay and were really pleased with the food quality and presentation, prices not too bad & comparable with other islands. Beachside massage service was delightful.

Pool needs simple maintenance, tiles missing and the overall appearance of it is somewhat scruffy, lets down the overall image. Our room was big enough for 3 with the extra bed but are very old and bit creaky, again simple maintenance and attention to detail would greatly improve the standard.
