resort is currently undergoing a major redevelopment and I am sure it will be spectacular when finished I will be back

Location was lovely close enough to turn

No change of towels no extra toilet rolls no knives to cut any fruit meat veg. Wi fi very very low connection didn't work for us. Servicing the unit was not done over the 4 days of our visit😣 We hope that the renovations etc that are apparently happening also means that units will be better serviced and contact with reception more easily accessed.

Good location, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Value for money, a nice pool - intend to visit again after renovations are completed. Overall a nice place to stay.

Cold water was hot not sure if this was a plumbing issue. It was a little dated but we were advised of this and renovations were imminent. There were no extra pillows or fans in the rooms. Fridge was actually a bar fridge expected a full sized fridge

The location is great. Beds were comfortable. Aircon worked well.

It is going to be renovated but at the moment it needs a lot of work, is very run down. While it was clean, the linen was old, dirt blew in under the door but no broom, no sharp knife or cutting board to cut our fruit etc, no hairdryer as stated, not much of anything really. Very disappointed and way over priced for what we got!

It was unclean carpet unclean bathroom mat was stained and filthy bed was old noisey and did not have a mattress protector towels were old spray paint was on cutlery and cutlery tray curtains had paint dust in them that rubbed on my husbands trousers all dishes and crockery were mismatched fridge door held together with tape table was too small for 4 people too expensive for quality

Beach front

Old and out dated nothing like advert photos. In the shower HOT water came out of the cold tap, it had to be left running until it was bare able to stand under, No toiletries were supplied, the vanity basin legs were rusted through. The advert stated air conditioned studio with private courtyard this was of poor quality and on the table was a dirty ashtray full of cigarette butts. The studio smelt of cigarettes and disgusting deodoriser to try and mask the cigarette smell. The advert also stated air condition studio there was NO aircon or fan in the bedroom, only in the living area. It was so hot during the night my husband attempted to sleep on the lounge.

Room was about to be demolished & hotel to be renovated, towels smelt bad, room was old & ready for demo, ceiling fan about to fall out of roof, wifi did not work, no restaurant nearby, need a car, bus stop into town right outside

The African Reef was great and once I arrived I had a feeling of deja vu and a hit of nostalgia as though I had been here before. Ryan was friendly and very helpful and I appreciated the fact he worked past close to help my family and I settle in.

We didn't get to use the pool due to only stopping in overnight but that's our fault 😀

Not very much, to be honest.

A lot! There was a power cut twice within an hour of arriving. The doors and windows were hard to open/close and didn’t seem secure. There was ONE outdoor cafe style table and chair inside which was meant to serve potentially FOUR adults! There was no hot water in the shower, the soap dish was broken and duct taped, the furniture looked used and secondhand, the cutlery was dirty and everything we used, we washed first - we didn’t even have a sponge to wash those with, btw! We also couldn’t connect to the “free” wifi and there were bugs inside! The only redeeming fact with this place: it will be refitted and will have a name change. I guess the only way is up from there!

My stay failed to meet expectation. The text message advising of my self check in failed to provide a password to access the "Free WiFi" which rather much disrupted my plans.

very quite motel next to the ocean warm and spacious.

it is run down and badly needing big expenditure on maintenance. I guess they need occupancy h to o pick upmm m post COVID slow down.

Good size rooms comfortable king size bed but rooms are in need of restoration as a matter of fact the whole resort has been let go which is a shame as it could be a very desirable place to stay. I,m sure it was a great place in its day but its over priced for what it is today.
