The place is clean, a bit outdated though. The Eco cottage we did end up in had a bedroom on the groundfloor with a lounge, kitchen and shower / bath tub on the same floor and another 3 beds in the first floor. From the groundfloor the toilet is about 50mtr walk from the bedroom, through the lounge, through the carport going up some concrete steps in the middle of the night. Messages like the one below the day before departure I don't appreciate as we don't need reminders and threats of extra charges see below. I hope you have enjoyed your stay with us. Just a friendly reminder that check out time tomorrow is 10am. If you would be kind enough to leave the cottage as you found it, clean and tidy, and on time you'll avoid extra charges. We really enjoyed the country feel of the cottage and the fact that it was very private on the property. Eerything was provided and it was cosy and comforatble. It is also very close to the town. We walked into breakfast one morning which was really nice to be able to do.

Bombina Cottage was super close to town my husband and I walked and it is located on a nice property so you had plenty of space. The view was great and the cottage had everything you needed.

We went in August in school term time which was the perfect time to go, not too hot and not too cold, and we had the place to ourselves. The location is fantastic, on the side of a hill with views of the inlet while surrounded by a karri forest. Plenty of kangaroos, rabbits and birds to keep us company. The chalet was great. There were 5 of us - 2 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of room. There is a balcony where I enjoyed my morning coffee while relaxing in nature. There is a wood burner with an abundance of fallen wood all around, some even chopped and prepared by the management. There’s a single covered car space, but plenty of places next to the chalet to park a second or third vehicle if required. There’s a washer dryer in the chalet so you can pack light. Denmark centre is only 1.3km away so is close enough to walk or drive. It has great restaurants and shops and an IGA for everyday stuff. I will definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

Not much to say really. The decor of our chalet is a little dated and could do with a spruce up. There were gaps in walls and windows that let a few creepy crawlies in, but we were in a forest so that was not a shock! There were a few spider webs up high and the windows could do with a clean. But these are minor compared to everything else.

The view was absolutely beautiful. There was no internet connection however it worked out well as it helped us socialise more and not to be on our phones. We managed to do alot during our stay. We appreciate it Elsa coming to say hi and helping us when we needed.

The stove. It’s not that we did not like it but it was old and it did go well with the cottage vibe. We thought it might be easier to have more modern one. However overall it was good.

The location was excellent as we like the peace and quiet of the country and yet close to all facilities.

great location. Just out of town but felt completely away from everything lots of bird life at the front window and a huge mob of kangaroos in the paddock lots of lovely soap provided but no shampoo

the noise made by wildlife, possibly possums, on the roof in the evening was a bit of a surprise the toilet was a bit more “outside” than expected
