Just about the coolest hotel I have ever seen! Awesome restaurant - though be aware that it is very fancy. Took advantage of the museum and Long House tour on site. An amazing way to learn more about the Huron Wendat people.

Great that it is connected to the museum.
Dinner service was very slow

Truly a First Nations Immersive Experience! Beautiful and unique and classy hotel and restaurant. Beautiful swimming pool. Hiking trails. Cultural add ons well worth it! Stay a few days it is beautiful and relaxing. Shout out to Diego who told us beautiful stories and sang beautiful songs in Windake language
Liked everything and everyone

Beautiful, picturesque hotel. Very well decorated, quiet and well maintained.
Lots to do, but all with a cost. For guests who stay and dine at the hotel, perhaps offer complimentary access to the museum area.
As recommended, we made reservations to the restaurant and planned around the timing. Unfortunately, those planning efforts didn’t matter as we ended up taking three hours for the dining experience. If we would have reserved an activity in the evening, we would have missed it. From what we understand, a large number of unexpected guests arrived at the restaurant and they got served immediately, leaving hotel guests with reservations left to wait for their food and ruined what could have been an amazing experience.

It’s absolutely stunning! Love the Indigenous artifacts around the property and the activities available through the museum. It’s very clean, very beautiful, very cozy.
The pool area is meh. It’s not a big deal, but given the beauty of the rest of the hotel, the lack of character there was noticeable. And the restaurant was only open until 9…we wanted drinks and dessert after our workshop, but they were already closed.

Beautiful view of river, lobby and room were well decorated, loved visiting the museum & longhouse on-site, very clean room, enjoyed Myths & Legends activity.
In room TV only had local channels with no on-demand movies, bathroom beautifully decorated but toilet wobbled when sitting on it, sheets were scratchy (noticeably low thread count) & bed very firm (which I did not find comfortable), lacking bedside tables for both sides, had to put my drink and glasses on floor. Outdoor construction appears to be ongoing which was not ideal. There was no option for casual eating onsite, even a canteen in the lobby with drinks and snacks for purchase would have been helpful. (We did not eat at onsite restaurant). Had to drive into town for casual restaurant & to buy snacks & drinks.

Beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming lobby. checkin was efficient. Even before our arrival the staff was responsive to our inquiries. The rooms were well appointed and also beautifully decorated, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was nice and clean.
More plugs near the bed to charge devices would have been nice. TV had only french channels. Facecloths would have been useful to have.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful.
Some sewer smells in the bathroom probably due to warmer weather. Staffs were able to address the issues quickly.

The tour of the long house and the design of the hotel
I reserved for a total of 300 Cad, I was charged 398 cad and I don’t understand why.

The pool was really clean. The rooms were looking at the river.
The rooms are very small and dark. The museum was nothing like in the pictures, it was really small and there was nothing to do at the museum. The hotel is actually small and does not look like the same in the pictures.

A beautifully curated cultural experience. Even the lobby and hallways were a feast for the eyes. The restaurant was incredible (and our waiter was truly exceptional). The beds were comfortable and we loved falling asleep to the sounds of the river. The kids loved the crafting and storytelling experiences. Also, the pool was a hit. Would love to come back again. Definitely recommended.

This is one of the most delightful hotel and restaurant experiences that I have ever had in North America. All of the rooms have a lovely view of the forest and the small creek behind the hotel. I especially enjoyed seeing the changing colors of the Red Maple leaves off the hotel back veranda. The room was spotless and the bedding was clean and comfortable. I had breakfast on both mornings that I was there -- unfortunately, I was unable to try the restaurant for lunch or dinner since I was out on full day trips -- the Train de Charlevoix was a delightful experience -- and did not return to the hotel until late. The breakfast, although not included in the room rate, is worth the price -- tasty and beautifully prepared. I had the smoked salmon breakfast one morning and the pancakes with wild berries on the second morning. Stay for the week and try all of the options! The onsite museum and longhouse is fantastic. The highlight of my visit was seeing the Onhwa Lumina cultural light show down the road from the inn. This was a highlight of my recent visit to Canada. An incredibly emotional and spiritual journey with light and sound. I can imagine people driving up -- or taking the train - from Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa for a long weekend. Why stay in crowded and often overpriced Quebec City when this inn is available at such a reasonable price? The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Beautiful architecture. Beautiful location. excellent restaurant.
4.4
A very nice surprise. Professional and helpful staff, large and comfy rooms. The restaurant downstairs offers First Nations inspired cuisine which was the best food we had during the whole stay in Quebec. The museum is a plus, especially the long house – our personal highlight. Location is perfect for day trips to the Parc National de la Jacques Quartier, with great hikes and water activities.
The souvenir shop is a bit disappointing – though the lady was the nicest. The gym is quite small and not really equipped for weights - mostly cardio.
4.4
The ability to open the patio door and let in fresh air and the sound of the nearby roaring river. The architectural design and features of the facility. The nearby biking/walking/running/roller blading path. The guided tour of the history of the Wendake people.
The room included little storage space for clothing items. The tile bathroom floor was cold. The TV did not work. The bed was soft and lumpy. Construction was underway for an expansion of the facility and we were not notified of that when we booked. The food was less than expected after reading many reviews. The restaurant wait staff were not very friendly and spoke little to no English.

very clean. In the nice atmosphere.
bed is very comfortable.
museum is not included or no discount for the hotel guest. museum entrance fee is not cheap. if you had visited same in the US, such as Plymouth, MA, this would be smaller with certain fee.
