Staff were friendly and accommodating. Was able to store my stuff prior to checking in which I needed as my work event started earlier in the day. Hotel is key based so friendly for travelling on Shabbat.
The one thing that kills any trip - the mattress was so uncomfortable. I was waking up every few hours with limbs asleep. I had already been having minor issues with my shoulder, but this mattress exacerbated them extremely and I'm now having to do physical therapy to recover to regular mobility. I requested a mattress pad and they said they would see if they had one, but none ever came. They either need to order all new mattresses, or have padding available for those who need a softer sleeping area.

Pros: excellent breakfast service, the breakfast and breakfast staff were awesome! The breakfast staff deserves a bonus in my opinion.
The location is awesome. The hotel is older and maybe in need of upgrades, but that was not a deterrent.
Cons: Our wifi didn't work at all and the TV didn't work and we had to call the front desk and they sent a "tech" really just an employee and he couldn't fix it. The front desk employee, John, was short tempered with us as I felt we were bothering him because we had no TV or wifi. He made it clear it wasn't his job to fix. That was not okay. Finally got the TV working the next day after a different employee, Vincente, who was GREAT, came to fix it, but it was a hassle for the first day and a half. We enjoy TV! It's part of our relaxation in a hotel.

Breakfast, Outdoor space
We had a horrible experience with the hotel manager. She is extremely RUDE and unfit to work in the hospitality industry. We were at the hotel and were given an idea about which room we would get for the category we wanted to book. We wanted one with a view of the valley and confirmed that would be the case if I booked. I went ahead and made the reservation on booking.com while waiting at the reception desk. In a few moments after completing the reservation the manager told us that since we booked through a third party they could not offer us the room we wanted ie facing the valley and instead offered us one with absolutely no view. I really felt cheated. The manager was rude to us in front of my children (we were celebrating my daughter's birthday). This was the last leg of our Colorado road trip and this lady soured it for us. Even my child was questioning me why she was being so rude and unreasonable. The hotel inspite of being below 50% occupancy she refused to budge. I have myself managed short term vacation rentals and understand hospitality, we do everything possible to make our guests stay memorable, people like her have no place to work in this industry. The low rating reflects this negative experience.

We stayed back in July. First, they gave us the wrong room key and room, which was pretty sketchy. Then, we accidently left something in the room when we checked out. Provided the exact location of the missing item when we called back that afternoon, said they would look, but came back right away every time we called to say they did not find it. It was my daughter's item, and when she called, the front desk staff was rude.

Reasonably priced compared to other Snowmass lodging. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The curtains were good, the room was quiet and we had a good night sleep. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Reasonably clean, nice location right on the downhill slope. In the winter this is a ski-in ski-out hotel. Free parking available nearby.
The hotel is old and tired. The bathroom is a product of the 80s. It has been repainted - badly - but that's it. It works, but it's not nice. The furniture is an odd mix, the carpets seem old. One small elevator. The breakfast was pretty basic. The pancakes were good, freshly made, the bacon was dry and brittle - guessing pre-packaged fried bacon. The rest was cheap and basic. The common areas are old and tired. The pool didn't look clean but the water was cold anyway so we didn't go in. The gym is sparse and old.

Breakfast was fair
The Sauna was disgusting and has not been updated since the 60s, wifi was around 2mbps, the bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall, there was no way to control cooling in the room other than opening the door (or window , when it was way too cold outside ) , the door was not well insulated and it was noisy , and the gym has one piece of equipment where is smells like electrical plastic burning. This was a huge disappointment for a room that costs 500 a night after tax. The owners of this hotel should be ashamed at the conditions of our room , the general hotel , and the gym/sauna (which is honestly a health hazard )

Ski in/ski out easy access to the slopes.
We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and lunch each day and the lobby area was a nice place to gather for work or fun. We enjoyed the “old school” vibe.
This is an older property that could use some updates.

Location is perfect! We were staying with toddler and it was so easy to go for few skiing runs with toddler. Sky cab was so confortable to have near easpecialy with toddler.
Room was simple, but ok.
It's really simple hotel, the price reflects quality, but when you in the mountains you don't spend much time in hotel. Everything was as we expected.

this ski resort is perfect!!! it's not as expensive as the rest of the resorts at the sorrounding area. free breakfast (buffet) is included, there are always bananas, and then each day they have something different (eggs, pancakes, french toast) plus corn flakes..
what i loved the most is that its right next to the slopes.. so when you have your skis, you can go straight from your room to the slopes and take the lift up the moutain.

How convenient it was to the slopes/ shops of snow mass and easy to store our ski equipment.
Maybe arrange the room a little better (dressers on both sides of the bed). And a fan is needed in the bathroom for the shower.

Location was incredible, walk down and put on your skis and go down to village express. Hot tub was a bonus. Breakfast and soup lunch was great.
Rooms a little run down but the beds are SO comfortable!

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect, steps away from the Snowmass mall and it has true ski in ski out access. Breakfast and lunch were included and they were good and convenient. We loved John the manager on duty.
the building is old, in need of repair/updating

Really great location and very friendly staff. We loved the hot chocolate and herbal teas available.
there was too much plastic and waste being produced when having breakfast and lunch. Let’s look after our environment please!

location , hot tube
I came to the hotel at 10 pm. We drove from Denver with my family it was very snowy and we drove 7+ hours… we rented two rooms and took our luggage from our car. At 11pm I found out that we don’t have food for the kids which I accidentally forgot it in car . I went to the car and I came back in 20 minutes.
By coincidence, I forgot my key for hotel in my room in the room and could not get into it, I waited at the reception for a lot of time, I called the emergency number, but the answering machine turned on and it was not even possible to leave a message, as the box was full! I had to sleep with a nanny and children in the same room, I came to the reception by 6 in the morning and as a result the first girl came to the Reception by 7:15 !!! Just imagine, you would go out for a smoke and forget the key at 11pm you would sleep in the lobby! Because in this hotel no one cares about you.

The location cannot be better, and the staff was very friendly. Including both breakfast and a soup lunch was convenient while skiing.
The temperature of the room seemed hard to control, and you could tell it was an older property.

The booking original room cost was high, and the discount made it more affordable. I assumed the hotel would be nicer compared to the original price. So therefore the expectation was higher. Now I know. I would still stay there for the same price.
Food was mediocre but I understand why in these times

Cute and homey. Nice staff and great location.
Older rooms, but very clean.
