The room (2 double bed w the two plaid chairs) was exactly as pictured or even better. The two windows overlooked the Old City and it was a large beautiful room with comfortable beds and exceptional housekeeping. We absolutely loved our room (#10). The staff was wonderful. Their location could not be beat. Near to everything. We even used the rooftop terrace for reading and a place to drink a cup of coffee. The hotel itself is historic and beautifully decorated. Reasonable parking right across the streets in underground parking garage.

Important to note that there is no elevator. And step steps walking into hotel. We were in a room on second floor but there are 3 floors. We had read ahead of time and were prepared but important to know.

I visit this hote when there are not many guests. Thankfully, The host upgraded the room for me

The staff went above and beyond to make our 30th anniversary getaway special. The room was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was a perfect fit for visiting Old Quebec City.

The location is stellar, and it’s beautifully furnished and clean with really comfortable beds. I also loved the roof terrace - sat with a book out there a couple of times :) The staff gave great info when we checked in, which was much appreciated - we would have missed the Thursday night summer fireworks if not for that (and they were worth watching). When I come back to the city, I am for sure staying again at Hotel M-R!

It’s so close to stores and restaurants. The facilities are clean and maid service daily with changed sheets and towels. The bed was very comfortable. It felt safe.

The stairs are old and steep. There is no way to carry luggage any other way. Whenever you needed ice or coffee or iron, you had to run the stairs.

Beautiful Hotel our room was so nice and the staff was super friendly. The location of this hotel was perfect everything was in walking distance.

Bed was a little stiff and the pillows were flat.

The room is beautiful! Spacious, super well decorated, and with everything you need. The location couldn't be better, it's in the center of Quebec city, 2 min walking from the hotel Fairmont. And there is a considerable amount of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

I wish they had the reception open longer, in case you need something, like when the people from the room upstairs were noisy late at night, but I understand that it's a small hotel and might be difficult to cover long reception hours. There was a coffee machine in the room, which was great! But a kettle to make some tea would be also much appreciated :)
