The location is great! Many restaurants near by, literally cross the street to the bay and enjoy the amazing views, and great music playing at Humphrey's restaurant next door. Free bike rental thru hotel is a plus, and they also provide a voucher for waived admission fee to the Backstage Live events in the restaurant. Overall, had a really great time!

The grounds were unique and beautiful. The facilities were clean and accessible.

We were in room 102 in building A. The hot air return ducting must run under this room as it was unexpectedly warm at all times. Even with the cooling to 60 degrees the room was always warm.

Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal war bei Beschwerden nicht sehr entgegenkommend. Der Fitnessraum ist sehr klein und manche Geräte funktionieren nicht.

Staff was polite. Location was good. Grounds were lovely.

Cracked drywall and paint. Broken shutters. Cleaning crew took used coffee cups and didn't replace. Didn't refill coffee. Made up only one of the two beds, left the other unmade?? No coffee in lobby. Just not great. Very versatile expensive for poor quality.

We were coming from out of state for our daughters wedding. After our first awful and disgusting hotel experience the first night we were so grateful and blessed to stay here at Humphreys Half Moon Bay Inn! Everything and I do mean EVERYTHING was amazing! From the extremely courteous and efficient front desk staff, to the cleanliness of every inch of this inn. This inn has been around for a long, long time. But the owners and staff have kept it upgraded, repaired, improved and clean! Everything was a joy to experience here. We were exhausted by the end of our trip and needed sanctuary and found it here. You will not be disappointed in the least by staying in this well maintained and luxurious inn. We booked a junior suite upstairs, do not hesitate to do this. The floorplan is wonderful and the balcony overlooks the ocean. The room was wonderfully decorated, amply supplied with coffee fixins, 2 TV's and plenty of towels and it was just the most blissful of stays to end our weekend! Thank you Humphrey's!!

Nothing! Maybe the only thing would be if we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy all the amenities of the beautiful property. We so wanted to enjoy the music, pool/jacuzzi and restaurants more.

The carpet, the smell, the air quality from the AC and heating unit needs to be reevaluated. I recommend removing carpet and installing tiles.

Check-in efficient and friendly. Room and bath were recently redone and were exceedingly clean. Problem with heat was responded to within 5 minutes.

This place is like it's in another place ,its so tropical ,there are koy ponds, with the biggest fish I've seen ,and a turtle ect . The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and you can even watch the military ships go by. It definitely wont be my last time there.

It's not that I didnt like ,but it was pouring rain and super windy . But it was still so gorgeous

Hot tub was closed one morning for repairs. Took half of day. Clothesline in bathroom doesn't work. Some light bulbs out.

The view is beautiful, the check-in is fast, the hotel is like a very beautiful forest

Front desk and house keeping staff were very accomidating. Grounds were well kept. The bicycle that were available were fantastic for exploring Shelter Island.
