Voices traveled up from the reception even when folks weren't being loud, which woke us up a few times.

I really felt bad for the hosts because Hurricane Fiona came while we were at The Sonata Inn and the hosts did everything possible to help the guests.

Didn't like Fiona.

The Sonata was very very nice. Staff were very helpful they even let us do our laundry in the morning before we had even checked in and offered tea or coffee. Room was clean and large. Very welcoming place to stay with areas within the house to just sit and read or relax. Breakfast room is large and bright and many different options. Also offered a warm breakfast, so nice.

There was nothing negative about this place or the staff.

We were in room #12 (third floor / attic). It was good exercise. The room was overall clean, although I would have preferred that the room floor was not carpet. Outside our room was a full size kitchen and a huge dining room. We shared the floor with room #13. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The daily continental breakfast had a lot of options, with buffet of pastries, bread / toast, bagel, 4 different types of cereal, fruits, hardboiled eggs, juices. And on top of that, they also serve bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs/ baked egg & bacon muffin. We also love that they have coin operated laundry which we used. The location is 5 minute walk to downtown shopping area, on a quiet street. We did all the self-guided heritage, cultural and shopping walks from the Inn, without having to take our car.

The carpet flooring and weak wi-fi.

We need to catch the early schedule of ferry so no time for breakfast, they packaged the breakfast for us the night before, that is so sweet.

The room is small but it is understandable.

Excellent location on mature shaded street close to waterfront park.

Plenty of food at breakfast but you had to remind them of choices you had checked on a sheet on arrival. Other options than Plain white bread used for toast could have been offered. Room was pleasant but on the small side for the price.

Lee and Katherine were delightful, friendly and eager to please. We had delicious breakfasts every day, and were comfortable and well located. Overall a great stay in PEI!

This is a family bed and breakfast, very well located, bed is comfortable and shower is ok (it could have a bit more pressure, but it works ok for taking a shower), the breakfast was very good (specially the hot part made fresh by the chef that is the owner).

It is family owned and you can feel the love put into it! It’s a very homey feeling, and has everything that you need as well as a great location! Included in the price, you even get a wide variety of a breakfast, hot items and classics, like yogurt, baked goods, etc!

The graciousness of the family on our arrival impressed us very much. The location is excellent for touring downtown without having to be downtown.
