Staff knowledgeable; Breakfast was great; located close to streetcar stop, restaurants were nearby. Room was clean.

Next door view was a vacant lot.

We liked the location, the friendliness of the staff, the continental breakfast, and the pool.

We didn't like the back door on the first floor which opened whenever anyone walked by. That should be adjusted so it opens only when someone approaches it very closely. We did not like the hotel computer which apparently has a virus and freezes when a user tries to log into a website. There appears to be no virus scan or protection on that computer. At the continental breakfast we didn't like the selection of hot food, with hash brown or other forms of potatoes dominating the hot menu. Also, we felt that it would be better to stay with some form of eggs and a meat at each breakfast, rather than experimenting with some other hot English muffins or other types of non-straight egg dishes. We asked for a low floor, but were given the 6th floor even though the hotel was only 1/3 full. I think that the hotel website listed water bottles in rooms, but it turned out that the water bottles were only available if the guest had a high rating in Hilton Rewards.

Die Lage vom Hotel ist super, Streetcar Haltestelle direkt vor der Haustür und die wunderschönen Häuser vom Garden Distrikt sowie ein toller Supermark und Restaurant gleich um die Ecke. Der Pool ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, besonders die Wasserqualität - es handelt sich um einen Salzwasserpool ohne Chlor.

Der Zimmerservice muss sofort beim Check-in bestellt werden, sonst bekommt man keinen Zimmerservice. Die Gartenmöbel am Pool waren sehr dreckig und es gab zu wenig Liegen. Am ersten Morgen gab es kein Brot mehr zum Frühstück und es wurde auch auf Anfrage keines mehr aufgefüllt. Der gebuchte Preis wurde erst nicht akzepiert und wir sollten fast den dreifachen Preis zahlen. (1500 USD statt 460 USD)

The breakfast was fair not as good as in past years with a 24 hour. Coffee was wonderful.

Go to breakfast before 8:30 or nothing left. They don't replenish.

Location

Tired. Particularly the room carpet, which stunk. Also, despite requesting at check in and when I left the hotel the first morning, our room was not cleaned. These problems don’t happen when you just…clean rooms. Like you used to. Before Covid. Which the hotel is still hiding behind to save the cost of cleaning rooms.

The location was decent and most of the staff was pleasant. The lobby was also very clean and looked like the pictures online.

Initially, the preauthorization for the room went through for an incorrect amount which was annoying and inconvenient. Once we got into the room we realized it was small and not clean. There were M&Ms on the floor when we arrived, dust covering the back of the couch, something that looked like food? behind the tv stand, mold in the corners of the bathroom, mildew on the window curtains, and weird hairs on the bathroom vanity. The lock on the bathroom door and the exhaust fan were also broken. The electricity was out for about an hour around bedtime one evening which wasn’t the hotels fault but built upon the already existent irritation. We went downstairs to ask if they knew when the electricity would be back on and were told to call the general manager. We did and got no answer. The pool is also very narrow. I just wouldn’t recommend it. It wasn’t a comfortable stay at all.

The location is great, right at the streetcar.

I was supposed to get my bill by email which did not work out. So I still wait for my bill to be sent to my email address.
