The decor. The place is beautifully appointed. A late afternoon offering of sherry in the lobby was appreciated and a good way to meet other guests. The host Brian was very helpful and friendly.

We really missed the breakfasts.

The boutique atmosphere, the location, clean and a nice breakfast to eat at our leisure. We enjoyed walking around Sidney and the short walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We would prefer a king bed but the queen was very comfortable. The a/c was noisy but needed

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff,the breakfast provided was healthy and certainly enough. Room was beautifully kept and clean. nice bathroom. Hotel really had an old world charm.

We didn’t realize it was more of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was minimal and not foods of our choice. There were no staff available as we were departing. Expensive for service and food received.

Our room was quite small. The breakfast wasn't any good. A small yoghurt and grapes and tiny quiche from the fridge.
They shouldn't advertise a breakfast when they are not going to provide a good one.

The Beacon Inn was comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast was included and there was a nice variety of things to eat and drink.

Our breakfast was delicious there was such a variety and the coffee was very good… The location was good because we were close to everything
Although this had nothing to do with where we stayed we just decided that when we come again we need to come on a Saturday because there were some shops that we really wanted to go in and we didn’t realize that some of them are closed Sunday and Monday….. But this did not hamper our stay there we loved every minute of our time in Sydney

Beautiful room with very well-curated appointments. Lovely common areas. A nice touch to have sherry waiting in the room and cookies in the common area. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. Would definitely recommend the Beacon Inn at Sidney!
