Location, price.
Thermostat in the room was turned off on my arrival. Outside temperature was -18°, inside the room was around 10°. Took all night for the room to warm up and the blankets on the bed were horribly thin. Freezing cold most of the night.

It was decently located, it was the cheapest we found.
When we got to our room there was previous toilet paper in the toilet. Could smell smoke-possibly from years ago as it is an older hotel. Doors did not close properly and deadbolt was very tough to close or open. No plates the first morning for breakfast. Breakfast room smelled of previous smoke as well. Very basic continental breakfast with no sink to wash or any staff around to assist.

Worst experience of my entire life staying anywhere and I've probably had 20+ stays all around just Alberta. It was a nightmare. Couldn't even give me my change back after I caught one of them leaving my room after I had left.

The room was clean, the kitchenette had everything I needed. TV was good. The bathtub was clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water & excellent pressure.
The exterior of the building looks rough. Was a bit nervous pulling up.

It was great that it was near the mall (walking distance) and was around many amenities. Rooms were quiet and clean. Enjoyed the outdoor access to rooms.
The bed mattresses were on slippery frames. The mattresses would slip side to side and there was no edges to catch the beds.

Cleaning stafff came into my room while I was still sleeping in the morning, someone from the room underneath me came to my door at 730 pm and told me to take off my dress shoes while I was walking around getting ready for dinner plans.

Lack of parking space has always been an issue more so now since you have rig crews staying at your facility. Some of the rig people do not give consideration to the other guests. i.e.: a rig person comes in with a trailer and takes up 5 parking spots.

They accused us of dirtying the bed spread..when it was obviously there before we got there..then threatened us to charge 50 bucks..then they call back and say..sorry we got the stain out..but it wasn't my in laws at all...then they had a bunch of rooms with dogs and they woke us up at 6am in the morning...brutal stay..should have received refund..never stay there again

It was very noisy the weekend we were there even after escalating to front desk. It stopped for a short time and than continued rest of the night.

It would have been nice if they had other options besides coffee in the office. A muffin or something easy like that to take back to your room would have been appreciated.
