Lage ist perfekt, alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen, könnte wiedermal eine Totalsanierung benötigen. Das Restaurant haben wir auf die viele negative Rezensionen nicht benutzt.
4.5
While the property appears somewhere between rustic and run-down, the actual room (#4 in the lodge) was beautiful and clean and there was a digital large screen TV, a fridge and microwave. The dock and complimentary row boats need attention and make a very bad impression but the beach was adequate and the available bbq's were good. Staff was very helpful and courteous.
The outward first impression is quite rundown but I "don't judge a book by its cover". Too may people make that mistake.
Restaurant could offer better options.

The location.
Site not maintained. Electrical issues in room. Air conditioning loud an made banging noises. Bed uncomfortable. No tissues, cups/glasses, wash cloths. Fridge leaked and microwave didn’t work. Parking not assigned in front of room. Insufficient outdoor chairs, ours were taken by other guests every night. Good in restaurant was terrible. Could not see the stars because of outdoor lighting.

Everything was great. The management team was wonderful and accommodating. The room was great except the door handle was damaged so it made it hard to open and close the balcony door.
There was a hole in the dock which was very dangerous. There was a metal pole underwater just off the edge of the dock. I would have also appreciated a broom in the room to sweep up the endless amount of sand that my children brought in with them from the beach.
3.0
the price was good...the rooms clean and updated.
overall look of the property is shabby...parking lot needs to be paved so dirt does not get tracked in to rooms...the dock needs renovating as well as there is a pipe sticking out of the bottom of the lake just a few feet from the dock. The pipe sticks up from the bottom to just bellow the surface making for a very dangerous situation if someone would dive or jump from the dock on to it. The buildings could use a simple power wash to get all the dead bugs off and clean up the outside a bit. It would take little effort to make it nice.

We did not purchase the pricey breakfast
Location was great
Very clean which was wonderful
But very sparse ….not even one cup or glass to drink from…but when asked was graciously given 2 cups
No coffee or tea packets in room which is pretty standard for ALL other hotels/motels we have ever been in

Great location and helpful staff
Rooms were clean and comfortable
Exterior needs upkeep and care. Cleaning and paint seem to be scarce.
Breakfast options were limited yet no reduction in price was available.

My lakeside room was modern and the bed was super comfortable. Great shower and loved the Muskoka chair outside facing the lake.
Lots of weeds and long grass and the grounds, lobby, restaurant and common areas could use some tender loving care.

Friendly staff
I was dirty with long grass and cigarettes butts all over the place. I believe the room they gave us was not the same as website.

My stay was far from satisfactory. Outdoor repairs disrupted our stay so we weren’t able to enjoy our patio during the day, and despite our request for a refund, the hotel refused. The staff, particularly the lady at the front desk, displayed unprofessional and rude behavior, leaving us feeling undervalued. Lack of transparency and consideration for guests' comfort made this experience regrettable. I strongly advise against booking a stay here.

The view of the lake was very nice
A plain omelette with no cheese and brown toast was 13.99 or 14.99. That’s insane. When we arrived for 3pm check in, they were doing maintenance on the water tank and we couldn’t flush the toilet or take a shower or use our jacuzzi for almost 3 hours. Also we couldn’t use the deck that was attached to our king suite because they were rebuilding it. And the guys working on the deck were smoking weed so that was irritating. When I spoke to the manager and he said he would talk to his workers, yet insisted that they weren’t smoking weed. But after he spoke with them we didn’t smell any weed from our porch at all afterwards. The water was brown when it did come back on and our jacuzzi was filled with dirt or whatever was coming out of the pipes when we turned on the water. It was disgusting. I paid 265$ for a king jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi was barely unusable. The pictures I uploaded are not as severe as what the tub actually looked like after the first time I used it. When we drained it, the amount of dirt that was covering the tub- I was confused and didn’t think to take a picture because I thought maybe i was covered in a lot of dirt. I just couldn’t expect the drains to be that filthy so I assumed it must of been myself which was a little extreme. My boyfriend was trying to clean it and that’s how we realized the dirty was coming from the taps. The manager came and he just said the water was brown because we were on a well, but I lived on a well most of my life and my bath water was never this colour. And then when he noticed the chunks coming out of the taps into the tub he said this has never happened before. When we asked for some kind of refund he said it was out of his hands. We also didn’t have a plug for the jacuzzi or the bathtub/shower and when I asked the managers wife she said she’s get her husband to come by with one but he never did. So we had to make our own plug. The he dirty towel was from washing the dirt from the jacuzzi.

Everything very bad .

Staff very friendly, good location.
Grounds very dirty - obviously not yet done the spring cleaning. Garbage in the room left over from previous guests.

Good location close to Algonquin, easy to book.
I've stayed here before in the summer and it was fine, but this time around it was winter. The room's heat had clearly been off, the room was cold, and uncomfortable, it took HOURS to warm up, while we huddled under the covers in a fleece. When I tried to contact the front desk, no one answered, no one was around and my voice message was never answered. When we went to checkout again no one was even on the property. In spite of having a fridge and microwave they do NOT provide glasses, cups, or plates of any kind, not even disposable, let alone a kleenex box.

Did not get the cottage we requested.
But still paid almost exact price for a much smaller room.
Staff’s response was you can cancel it if you don’t want to stay but where would we go last minute?
Atleast if you’re not able to provide the room we requested, don’t charge the same fees.

There could have been free beer!

The property false advertised for a spa tub fireplace and a bbq. None were functioning or available. We paid extra for these. All our food for the bbq was ruined. It's in the middle of the woods so no restaurants around or open Jan 1st. They lied afterwards and refused to give a refund. They stay was deplorable.

Meat lovers omelet was a pogo weiner on the side No butter on the toast. Half the lights don't work. Reception front desk . His name is Norway . Was rude, and playing games while recievi g us and always on his game the whole time . Norway said he worked there 3 months . He had no clue of activities surround us. Cost us 11 dollars for 2 bottles of water . Screen doors are not locked causing them to swing and bang all night long . Worst ignorant place I stayed ever!!!!!

Close to Algonquin—nice by the river, staff was friendly and helpful.
Though the room was redecorated and clean it had only one small window which faced the highway and the lighting was harsh. I thought I had booked a lakeside room? Also, the cable didn’t work properly though the staff did get it fixed once.
