it definitely held a lot of history, you’ll have to take it with a grain assault because it is aged.

some of the sheets were discolored, but other than that everything was great

The location with the train, sky train and street people yelling throughout the night made it difficult to sleep

I loved getting a tour from the owner of the hotel. Myrna was a very sweet lady and you could tell she was proud of her business. I loved hearing the stories and the history that went along with the hotel. The place itself was so intriguing. I loved how entering into the hotel felt like stepping back in time, especially with the original elevator still in working business. We only stayed for one night but it was an experience we will never forget. It was also extremely close to the sky train (it was basically across the street from the back door of the hotel) so it was easy to get to the airport the following day. Myrna even accommodated to give us a late checkout as our flight didn’t leave till later in the day. Overall a memorable experience and a fun adventure.

The only thing I didn’t like is that there were mice. This might have just been something specific to our room or the time of year, but they only came out at night and we only saw one. The owners were aware and had set traps, but it’s to be expected in such an old building.
