Location was close to family

Very old, outdated, didn’t look like a 4star hotel. Room was old and we didn’t get our room cleaned even though we stayed for 2 nights and requested it.

The hotel was in a good location, close to the our destination and major roads we were taking into and out of the city. Hotel was clean, as well. We felt safe. there was security present in the parking lot so we felt safe leaving our vehicle there. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The provisions market staff were wonderfully friendly and having a coffee shop (Starbucks) inside was a plus. The bartenders were excellent at the hotel bar. Overall we were satisfied.

The hotel is definitely older but well maintained. I would have liked for there to have been a few more in room amenities for the price, like complimentary water, etc.

The view was awesome and the water outside was beautiful.

The breakfast buffet was cold or barley warm and the waffles was disgusting

As we stood 2 feet away from the check-in desk, the 2 ladies continued to have conversation for another 5 minutes before asking us what we needed, as if you couldn't tell. The temp in the room was set at 65 and couldn't go any lower, but in reality, that should have been good enough to cool room, but it was hot and miserable to sleep. The highway noise was loud as well. The shower hot water took 7 minutes to get to warm water and another 2 minutes to get hot. Almost felt it was the shower handle that may have been broken. Mentioned this to the front desk clerk, and it appeared it was my problem, not theirs. The shower curtain was ripped and snagged, and the sheet had a stain. Paid 225.00 for one night. The hotel seems big and nice overall, just not sure my room was worth $225. When you travel 8 hours and arrive at 10pm, you are ready for a soft, comfy bed, hot shower, and good nights rest. Unfortunately, this was not the case.
