The hotel is good but the way we were handled by the reception was a bad experience. I never will advise my friends to go there!!

They had a problem with the machine or connection with for accepting my credit card. When we arrived it was all good . I was asked for my I/D and credit card number which I gave but they had a connection problem so wasn't accepting the card and the front desk said they can't let give us the room till we make a payment. So I disagree and said issue is your connection not my credit cards (this you can verify with my bank) so finally she gave us the room. We left our luggage in the room relaxed for a bit and thought of going shopping and grab some food. On our way out we went to the front desk and inquired if she managed to process the payment, she said she is still trying. So we told her we are going out and will be back and hopefully she should have processed the payment. I had tried with my TDVisa card and my Walmart master card. Coming back we found the room locked the card was no working at that instant the lady appeared and said I have locked the room and can only open once we make a payment using my debit card. The payment was $130/- and $30/- deposit. I said how can you lock the room with my personal possession in the room. I have never refused paying in any circumstances. She says hotel policy. I was treated as if I was a conman! I told her the problem is with your connection not my cards because I just made purchases with both these particular cards and I have receipts to prove this. Anyways I was so tired to argue so I said I can pay with the debit. So she says because I am paying with debit I have to pay a deposit of $350/- compared to $30/-, mayb3 they thought i would run away in the middle of the night with items in the room. Such a shame. Again i wanted to prove that i am no conman i paid the deposit of $350/- and $130/- for the room without a fuss. After this she opened the room. I don't blame her alone i am sure she was taking advise from her superiors.
