Hello , I have to say everything was great until my friend was not allowed to visit me, he got off work at 10:30 pm I had picked up dinner for both of us prior and had everything set up in the room and he was refused entry to the hotel Very disappointing I flew from BC to visit and all I can say I was almost going to book in for 1 week at your hotel and thank goodness I didn’t It’s not like I was having a party my goodness we are both quiet adults and we were going to have dinner and visit Beyond disappointed with these rules and won’t be staying here again as long as that’s in place ! I was made to feel like a teenager with a curfew Not impressed

We were in walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the city downtown area

The location was good. Big rooms with space! The beds were comfortable. Nice hot water.

Thin walls. You could hear every little bump or bang from the other rooms. Some of the outlets did not work.

This was an economical place to stay on my way to Alaska. I appreciated the fridge and coffee supplies in the room.

It was a little like a dorm.

The bed was hard. There was no sofa or chair. A chair and ottoman would have been great as I don't think there is a need for 2 desks and 2 wooden chairs.

Fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. Very squeaky floor. Noisy children running around late at night.

the facility is old, not very clean, and has monthly renters who stay up all hours of the night watching tv with the volume cranked up. One the second night, the electricity went out for 8 hours, which included a 3:15 a.m. evacuation with patrons standing outside in -18c while the fire department attempted to located the source of a burning electrical odor. No sincere apology for the inconvenience or suggestion for compensation came from what I assumed was the manager. His attempt at an apology was, “Sorry, guys.” The carpets in the room were dirty, the bed skirt was stained with streaks of brown and yellow, one of the two thin pillows had blood stains on it’s cover, and there was no plug for the sink.

it was clean and reception and staff was attentive. the hotel is smack in the middle of the best Italian restaurant and a public house and a couple blocks from the Main Street and the Center of town very convenient. Shower is strong.

it is a basic hotel which offered a good hot shower and rest but lacked warmth and coziness ambience which would have helped which since it’s so cold out and with it’s darkness so long the lighting in the room could be improved .
