Friendly landlady, clean and cozy apparment with versatile and useful cookware. Own parking place. Good breakfast ingredients! Perfect location to visit Peterborough, Lakefield, our friends and Curve Lake. We even got flowers for our friends from the owner's flower shop.

Host(s) lovely, helpful, kind. Lovely suite and comfortable. Nice little patio off back for coffee. Nice new looking carpet. Apartment sized fridge, (not bar) so that's great and having a full stove is very helpful when you want to eat in. Has alot you need when you stay for a few days, cozy!

A few more stairs than I wanted but........only thing is to keep the air moving upstairs in suite as it can be stale, need windows open a bit but air purifier helps too and the road can be a bit noisy/busy.

Quaint, eclectic gardens are creative and set a whimsical mood. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All the touches create a homey atmosphere.

Food was left for us to cook our breakfast. Very generous with the amount and variety. The rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the host very gracious and welcoming.

Lovely stay at the Burley's suite. Margaret and Bob were very kind and generous hosts. The breakfast items were replenished daily with many choices and farm fresh eggs to make at your leisure. I enjoyed the many birds and wildlife, garden and cute roof patio to eat our breakfast and watch the stars at night. I liked the older style, fireplace, comfy sofas and Netflix! Make sure to buy some of their yummy honey, they have a bee hive on the property. The garden shop is full of seasonal plants and garden adornments for great gifts for your green thumbs and friends. Thanks Margaret and Bob for your hospitality.

Many stairs to reach the high up loft/suite not suitable for someone with mobility issues, bigger windows, bigger patio.

The apartment was wonderful very comfortable with everything one would need for a stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

Our host was hospitable, warm and attentive to any need we might have. She is personable and pleasant. We were very comfortable during our stay. Any communication both prior to and during our stay was very prompt. We were pleasantly surprised to have access to Netflix which we did not find mentioned in the property description.

Traditional Canadian home. Good value for money. Quiet location, not far from the city center. Owners very friendly.

Great property and character of suite

Came to Ont fr Qc in a major rush , super last min due to funeral. Amazingly mind blown adventure and absolutely adored everything about the Burleys. Kindest and most interesting folk that i've met in a while. Can't wait to return in the future as I'm terribly upset that I didn't have time to purchase any of the Mrs extraordinary plants. Thank you both so very much! 💚

Very friendly host. Casual atmosphere. Suite felt like home in a very short time. Lots of amenities and things to make the stay interesting and enjoyable. Very clean and comfortable, with many thoughtful personal touches.

Control of heat: seemed to be only in one room.

The breakfast was great.

The 2 bedroom apartment was very comfortable, super clean, and well equipped. The breakfast items which we cooked ourselves, were refreshed each day of our 2 day stay. Eggs, peamail bacon, muffins, bread, juice, bottled water, coffee, and all the condiments were super fresh and plentiful. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cooking items. The large property has a huge area to walk around with lots of plants. The plant nursery has lots of different varieties of plants,birds and a huge and wonderful variety of items for “Fairy Gardens”. The owner is very friendly, helpful and can supply much information on things to do, places to go and where to have wonderful meals in the area. We would definitely stay here again when we return to this area. Our friends feel the same way.

Needs stairs outside upgraded. They have been trying to have them repaired but Covid has resulted in a shortage of workers.

Breakfast was good awesome. Location is very close to university and other parts of Peterborough but it is nice and quiet.

Eggs, pea meal bacon, homemade bread and croissants and orange juice and coffee or tea left for guests to prepare their own breakfast (suite comes with a small kitchen).

There was nothing not to like.

Fantastic breakfast

I liked how attentive Margarette was. She always said hi and asked if I needed anything. Location is close to downtown and a bunch of trails.

I had to leave a day early because my daughter and wife were sick. I ended up having to leave a day early but still had to pay. I expected it though because it would have been a day lost of business.
