Everything was clean, room was as advertised. Bathrooms were nicely upgraded.

Hard to reach reception
Tried to give us room with one bed when I had booked a double
Coffee maker didn't work
Saw no other customers, yet no vacancy
Fortunately we insisted on two key cards, since when we returned at night one did not work

No breakfast included. Clean towels, garbage was removed and beds were excellent. Would like to purchase those mattresses for home.
More gravel on the driveway. Very muddy in front of the door and where we parked the car. Poor lighting, poor electrical some of the receptacles need to be replaced they don’t hold the plug it falls out. Had to run water a long time before getting hot water. Door needed to be sealed wind blowing in. Shoe tray inside beside the door would be nice to keep the mud at bay.

Everything was perfect. The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Close to Manitou Beach and restaurants and very quiet. Also very pet friendly.

No breakfast was offered because of COVID but the room was adequate for a solo traveller.Got a flat screen TV,mini-fridge,microwave , a coffee/hotwater machine and a comfy bed.The room also equipped with a robust heater that cranked out heat in seconds which will surely keep motel guests from the harsh,cold prairies winter!!

i liked that that there where 2 night stands.
Well to start of, when we arrived and was talking to me she said I needed to sign on the machine for the receipt.. then later realized she copied my signature for the liability waver and rules and never let me read it or said anything about it even after I signed it… she folded the paper and gave it to me. before when we counted the money in cash in front of her for the total of the room and she accepted it, she then came out to our car and said she needed 13 more dollars and was getting mad that we said we already paid her, but we gave her the 13 dollars anyway. we finally got to go into our room and it was not as described… the bathtub had a dirt ring around the inside of it, there was no seating area as described in the room booking, we found a bug in our bed, the coffee maker was dirty and had to cycle it with water 4 times to get clear water. would not recommend.

Staff who don't understand English. I booked a room with 2 beds, but they changed it on me. My key didn't work and the master key they gave me also didn't work. No fan in the bathroom so there was mold and the toilet leaked.

There is no breakfast, but in the room there are coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. There is a grocery store close by. The freezing section of the fridge is small, but owners kindly stored our ice cream and water bottles in their freezer for us. The owners are very nice people, always met us with a smile and were very attentive. Everything is within 2 minutes drive: gas stations, restaurant, car wash, etc.
Stairs might be a bit longer *:)
