Malgré la situation, il faisait calme dans la chambre. Pour ce que nous avions reservé l'hotel était bien positionné. Mention très très spéciale pour le petit déjeuner !!!

Klasszikus new yorki szálloda, nem fiatal és ez jól áll neki!

A reggeli úgy általában nehéz ügy New Yorkban európaiként! Itt egy 10 dolláros jegyet adnak a szomszédos picike de egyébként jó francia pékségbe, tehát nem a szálloda reggeliztet! Ez a 10 dollár egy kávéra és egy croissanra épp hogy elég, felesleges opció! Érkezéskor még nem lehetett kézpénzzel fizetni, így kártyával levontak 500 dollárt. Ez rendben is van, másnap a teljes maradék összeget rendeztük kp-val. Majd hajnalban ezután véletlenül beterhelték a számlámat újabb 500 dollárral! Azt mondták ez valami hiba! Még várom, hogy visszakapom e!

My view wasn’t great and my pillow wasn’t so comfortable

Staff at the reception were exceptional. On the arrival, we received a hand written welcoming note and a box of macaroons . Incredibly helpful and caring. It felt like being at home rather than a hotel. Special thanks to Joelle- her constant care made our stay incredibly pleasant.

Wish there was a bigger breakfast selection at the French bakery.

Housekeeping needs some work. Had a skittle and copper scrubby that sat outside our door for days. Some surfaces in our room were not cleaned well during daily visits. Grime in shower.

Sehr gute Lage, nettes Personal, sauberes Zimmer, die Croissants und anderen Leckereien in der angegliederten „französischen Bäckerei“ waren ausgezeichnet! Wer traditionell amerikanisch Frühstücken möchte hat genügend Möglichkeiten in der Nähe! Der Vorteil der Lage, viele Restaurants, Cafés, Eisdielen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Die Bedienung/Einstellung von Warm-/Kaltwasser der Duscharmatur sollte auf einem Blatt Papier im Zimmer erklärt werden! Wir haben es durch learning by doing rausgefunden!

The location of the hotel is great if you want to easily explore manhattan. The downstairs restaurant/bar was super nice but a bit pricey, the mojito is super cool! The cafe where you get breakfast in the morning has great pastries but you have to be willing to wait in line.

The walls are not sound proof at all!! As you are lying in bed, if someone in an adjacent room speaks, you feel like they are in the room with you. People passing in the hallway during the night or just calmly speaking in their rooms can easily wake you up, so you are always kind of on guard and can't relax. We paid to upgrade our room and it was nice because it was bigger but for the prices we paid, you would expect to not be able to hear entire conversations in other rooms or hear your neighbor going to the bathroom. The other big things was breakfast, they give you $20 vouchers for the bakery connected to the hotel. The bakery is really good, but not big enough to accommodate the entire hotel...we had to wait about 35 minutes both morning just to get a cup of coffee.

Die Zimmer waren sauber und neu eingerichtet und wurden jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt, die Lage ist perfekt, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Subway (72nd Street) mit Local und Express Linien nach Downtown und Uptown.

Die Bäckerei, bei der man die Frühstücks-Voucher einlösen kann, hat leider keine veganen Optionen. Kaffee und frisch gepresster Orangensaft ist allerdings erhältlich und sehr gut.

Es un hotel de época impecablemente mantenido. Cuidan cada detalle, hasta en los ascensores se puede escuchar jazz. La ubicación es excelente, a dos cuadras de una estación de metro q te deja en downtown en 15 minutos.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Including the restaurant on first floor! Very Clean room. Comfortable beds. Nice view down broadway!

No mini frig in room. Small leak so bathroom floor got wet and shower door needed repair. Also could use strumming capability in room.

The attached bakery was very convenient. The staff was friendly and responsive.

The toilet and sink were ridiculous close together.

The lineups at the cafe in the morning to use the provided vouchers were really long and stressful. Could there be a better way to get folks fed in the morning?

Second stay and now will be my NYC hotel of choice. 9th floor room with 4 fabulous windows with Broadway views. Excellent house keeping, amazing staff, fantastic bar, restaurant and a cafe.

Excellent bathroom, very clean room, great location.

Room could be a little more updated. TV is old, wifi doesn't always work perfectly.

The hotel is in a very nice spot, the building is very well preserved, the rooms and the hotel generally are very clean. The staff of the hotel was very polite and helpful.

The wifi is no good , despise the fact that we booked the room with breakfast , there was actually a voucher of 10$ per person for the cafe that was part of the hotel and with it you could buy a coffee and a croissant ,for anything else you had to pay more. Also in the cafe every morning the was a really big queue.

Excellent location. Staff were super responsive and friendly. Room had most conveniences, Good shower. Comfortable bed. Comfortable temperature. Mostly quiet. No kettle, but brought up to room on request. Free daily water.

Wi-Fi was poor, and dropped intermittently. Room was smaller than most. Breakfast option w vouchers for a bakery was a poor idea, and there were always queues, unable to cope with the volume of people. Our particular room backed onto the elevator, and too much mechanical noise from that. Bad neighbours meant too much loud conversation at 1 - 2 a.m. , but not hotel’s fault.

Room was a tad small, however very clean and bed was super comfortable. Location was great! Close to a wonderful grocery and to restaurants. Centrally located. Complimentary breakfast was a delicious treat from the French bakery downstairs, "Mille Feuille." Great coffee and pastries to get you on a wonderful start to the day!

There was nothing to complain about. Staff was very professional and very friendly and helpful. I had asked for early check in, as my flight arrived at around 10:00 am. By the time I arrived at the hotel from LGA, there was already a room available for me. I was exceedingly grateful for that.

Morgenmaden var ikke det vi havde forventet. Det var et fransk bageri med croissanter, brød og kager. Vi manglede sunde alternativer.

Good location, nice facilities

Two main issues: 1. No window - the window in the room faced some kind of an internal hallway, with no light and no fresh air. For all sense and purpose this isn't a window and it should've said so when making the booking. 2. Very poor breakfast - there's no real breakfast. You simply get a $10 voucher for a cafe downstairs. This doesn't buy much (if anything) and requires standing in line for a 40 mins, because the cafe can't handle the load of hungry hotel guests. At the end there's no place to sit to enjoy this symbolic "breakfast".

Beautiful building, great staff, clean, and the best location for us. Just a couple of blocks from two subway stations to get us anywhere we needed to go. The upper west side is the best location we’ve stayed in NYC!

The $10, per person, breakfast voucher at Mille-Feuille bakery, downstairs, was just a little short of what we needed for a substantial breakfast and coffee. But, it was still a decent value for an NYC breakfast and very good. The WiFi was very spotty. In and out quite often.
