it was an ideal location as we were visiting friends in Agassiz. This hotel has been lovingly designed and is a dream to stay at. Its very personal, the owners are always there to help and advise. Should not be missed!!!

Gourmet breakfast in a beautiful dining room!

We had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast. The location was good for accessing the Abbotsford airport. It was very clean and modern.

Host prepared a takeaway breakfast since we had an early flight. Much appreciated!

Awesome boutique hotel. Chris (owner) accompanied me to my room and explained everything that I needed to know. Room was extremely comfortable, quiet, and clean. Breakfast was amazing and nothing was too much trouble.

Brookside Inn is a lovely building with fabulous gardens and vineyards. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and the breakfast was amazing. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

1. 7 min drive to YXX airport 2. Beautiful garden view and vintage hotel decor 3. Nice and friendly host. We had trouble with the heater but the owner soon came to help us 4. Free bottle water and snacks

We didn’t enjoy our stay here mainly because we needed to catch an early flight in the YXX airport. 1. Our flight was at 7 in the morning so we wanted to rest earlier but because it is a wooden house (l assume) and l could clearly hear the what people were talking in my next room and the television noise from the room above. Well one of them stopped by 12am but the other lasted until 3 am in the morning! l really hope they can respect other guest! Of course this is not the inn”s fault but would be nice to implement some quiet hours rule since the sound proofing is not ideal 2. We thought it would be east to go to the airport because it is only 7 min drive. But we were too naive… We tried to book a uber the night before but it says Uber reservation is not available in the area yet. And early morning before our flight, we tried to request an uber but there was no car available since it was too early…. You know it is a quiet rural area unlike metro town so be sure to be aware. We called the taxi after waiting for 10 mins. But the driver didn’t speak English that well and he didn’t know the exact location. He tried to describe the landmark but you know we were tourists so how could we guide him… The inn does not have 24 hr reception so we didn’t know what to do. Finally we caught the cab and when we arrived the airport only 45 min before departure. We were on time but the whole experience was chaotic Overall, I’m just speaking ab my own experiences. l think if our flight was in the afternoon then we could probably sleep later. enjoy their breakfast (from 8-9), and catch an uber without trouble. But l would recommend staying in a express hotel with 24 hr reception and closer to the main road if your flight is early and you are new to the area like us.
