The design, the dark colors, the shower, very good service and staff, location. I loved the light switches, very comfortable bed, loved the pillows.

The TV remote, air conditioning wasn’t working very well or the AC thermostat was difficult to get right even though there were simple buttons, was hard to cool the room down quickly.

I forgot one T-shirt inside the closet when I check out. I call them back and they said nothing left in my room and unwilling to help me double check with the housekeeping team.

Soho diner - comfortable room

Noisy; wifi was spotty

The hotel was lovely, and our room (standard double) was the biggest room I've had in my many stays in NYC hotels. The room was well appointed with lights strategically placed and the desk was great to host calls from and actually work, and the bed was huge and comfortable. I also loved the food and drink options: Soho Diner, bar/lounge, room service all with compelling menus available pretty early by NYC standards and late as well. It was great that the room had a Nespresso machine. Further we stayed 6 nights, and the staff really went out of their way to get me extra hangers, extra creamers and nespresso pods each day since my husband and I each drink 2 cups and the room comes standard with 2 pods. Even though it's usually expected that you order food/drinks in the lobby area I found the host very willing to let me sit there and work on my laptop without buying anything.

Hotel is pretty dark in the common areas and it was a bummer to have to worry about whether you needed to order food or drinks just to sit and work in the lobby.

We absolutely loved Soho Grand. Location is superb we could not have wished for better. We loved the decor of the common areas. The lounge is so cozy and comfortable. We loved the decor of the rooms too. Rooms are comfortable as were the beds, linen and pillows. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Anthony at concierge was so helpful. Remington in the lounge was lovely. He is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. My husband and I stayed in a King Studio which was so comfortable for the two of us. My husband left and I was there for a few days alone so I moved into a Soho King room which was absolutely wonderful for me on my own. I was so comfortable. Thank you Soho Grand!!!. We would definitely stay here again.

The bath towels were a great quality but unfortunately very small. These should all be replaced with good size bath sheets of at least 110cm x 160cm.

On the pricey side, staff a bit confused.

Location perfect for our purposes. Staff reasonably welcoming. Rooms well appointed and bed very comfortable. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Loved the 24 hour Soho Diner!

Room: Our corner room at front was comfortable and just enough room...what I would still call: 'space efficient'...but not a place to hang out in really. Closet was rather small for any couple wishing to hang more than say 5 items. Large hanging TV blocked the side window 80%...a bit overwhelming and rather defeating the notion of having two windows in a corner room. I assume it is what the media inundated youthful Soho Hotel demographic desires (but that's me being picky). Salon Bar/restaurant looked nicely appointed too...inviting...BUT....very popular (especially at night and ++ on the weekend) = read 'crowded' and LOUD...especially at night...as is the Lobby. You are hit by a wall of sound coming/going at night/weekend afternoons. Again...buzzy for them that want that sort of thing...but not us. Lobby & halls are very dark at all times.

Room lovely and inviting, restaurants fab and I was able to walk everywhere from here. Surrounded by shops restaurants and I felt very safe this area
