Great location near freeway and malls, so easy to get to where I needed to get to. Has their snacks sold in lobby and has pretty good selection.
Restaurants a little bit away, and the snacks are a little pricey.

I liked that the room was clean, it felt safe and it was quiet for the duration of my stay. The office staff was also nice and friendly the few times I spoke with them.
I didn't like that when I arrived to check in during my check in time, the office staff was not in the office, and didn't return until 6pm. It was very inconvenient, especially after a long drive and I was ready to get into my room and lie down. I had to wait in my car until the office staff had returned and had to drive across the street to use the restroom. I was not happy. There should be someone in the office at all times, especially during the hours of check in and check out. I also had a lot of anxiety about the safety of my car in the parking lot over night. Also, the pictures online make the building look a lot nicer than it looks in person. The outside exterior could use some touching up. The rooms were nicely renovated though.

Someone tried to go into my room several times, my kids were terrified. I had to run out of that hotel at midnight with my two children. Front desk acted like it was something normal with no concern over our safety. When asked for a refund they answered with I’ll see what I can do for you.

The staff was very friendly, and they were attentive to any needs.
The extra safety latch was broken in our room. That made me feel a little less safe. We did have a deadbolt though.

the facility is old. the room smelled old and musty. (bad) we originally booked 3 nights, only stayed one night only because we got there late the first evening.

Our room was remodeled and very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Value was great.
We had some hiccups. Tv was no working, fridge was not working, and no stopper for the bath tub. I had to fiddle with the phone to get it to work, once working I called front desk for help. Staff basically told me she could help with the TV but as for the other stuff I was out of luck. When she came to the room for the TV she had found a stopper as well. She promised to have changed up in the morning. Beds seemed to be super small for doubles.

The location was excellent. The air conditioner worked well.
There was no room service the entire stay. At check-out I was told I had to request it. I should have been told at check-in. My last night the was a power outage due to serving but was never advised of that either on check-in although they knew about it. I was on the third floor and the elevator was out of service one day and then again because of the power outage. I went to breakfast, walked two flights back to my room and my key no longer worked, I went back down to the front desk but no one was there and wouldn't be back for ten minutes. There was remodeling work going on the entire stay as well. Other than the location I would not recommend this location to anyone.

They served a decent breakfast.
Fancy/Modern platform bed frames are dark and difficult to see and they stick out from the mattress 6 or 7 inches and they hurt when you walk into them. They sure do look pretty, but the bruise on my shin, not so much.

Room Size/Kind, happy, helpful front desk, close to all the reasons we went to San Diego
The cost was three times what we have always paid and at that price we had to make our own beds and did not get clean towels, only one large towel ( we had to share) and the bathroom door had a big patch on it that had not been sanded or repainted, and the TV did not work!

I like the fridge and microwave.
Room is run-down. Coffee was weak and tasteless. Carpet was stained. When the maids clean the rooms, they should report carpet stains immediately and clean them ASAP. Dirtiness breeds dirtiness—-when guests see the stains, they are more likely to be careless and add to the stains.

Breakfast is surprisingly good and the lady is so helpful and keeps the area super clean.
The room smells really unpleasant... But if the air conditioner is kept on 24/7 it kind of goes away

The room seemed like somebody had already been in there used it for a couple of hours and had unfinishing touches no smoke detector in the room , room smelled horrible like cigarettes bed was uncomfortable

The woman at the desk very polite and helpful. The handyman very helpful in fixing things in the room. The housekeeper helpful. Air conditioner very good. Picture and description on the internet was good. The many construction workers on site were polite. The little fridge in the room worked well.
Place under huge renovation. Very difficult to find parking near our room due to all the construction supplies taking up space. Of course none of this was mentioned when making reservations. Carpet in our room was so dirty in left the bottom of our white socks filthy. Phone cable broken. The room smelled bad - musty. Had to use air refresher in the room. Hair dryer was pulled from wall. At 9:00 AM on Saturday the wielder started his job - cutting out metal guard rails and then wielding them closer to one another. The noise was terrible. Paid way to much money to spend our time at a construction site for a very important family event.

The TV.
The bathroom had mold on the ceiling in the shower, the bathroom floor was filthy, the toilet ran all the time, the bathroom sink was clogged, so you could only run the faucet for a few seconds before it filled up, the bathroom mirror had not been cleaned in months. We were unaware that they only freshen up your room every 2 days, but still charge you full price for the next night. We had to get our extra towels for the next night to bath. We also had no water for a couple of hours, you think they would let us know about this. We will not stay in any Choice Hotels.
