No water on the second morning. Booking would not give me a price break for this. Not satisfied at all!

Nice spacious room. Well equipped. Located very close to all the places a person would want to go. Beautiful grounds. Dog friendly. Very helpful staff.

2nd night there was a power outage in one section of the facility beginning around 7:00 pm Saturday night. We were initially told it would be restored around 9:00p. A truck had already arrived working on the transformer. 9:00 passed and was determined that a new transformer was needed 2 counties away. 2 more hours were added to the projection. tensions grew among the residents with no official hotel manager presence until 11:45. My wife and I tried to be a calming camp counselor influence. Eventually the “squeaky well AGGRESSORs got transplanted to a sister community. We remained trying to be positive. But a “couple” arrived next door with two dogs. They were agitated from the start. They leave the dogs in the room with no AC and leave around 8:45 to go eat promising to return quickly. They returned at near midnight, intoxicated and aggressive. After we tried to talk everyone back into their rooms and just go to sleep, they proceeded to argue until 12:50am. We finally fell asleep around 1:15. the power turned on at 2:00am we finally fell asleep with the AC on. While the power outage was not the fault of the hotel, the onsite response from management was two hrs overdue as tensions had escalated. at times i was concerned for our safety on our 39th anniversary trying to be good sports and bring calm. the others got what they wanted.

a/c did not cool sufficiently and was noisy. the hike up the hill was daunting. our first room had an a/c that was broken, if we had checked in late we would have been severely inconvenienced. Upon check in , i asked desk clerk to give us a room farthest the from street, out first room was exactly the nearest to street.

Excellent location. Away from the Main Street crowds but only two blocks away for easy walking access.

Advertises as pet friendly but charges an extra $25 per pet per night I understand charging a cleaning fee but felt this to be excessive.
