Felt welcome from the 1st day of arrival. Breakfast was absolut perfect to start into the day. A plus was that we were invited to have a dinner at the house. All employees as well as our host were very friendly, gave us a lot of insights regarding surrounding activities. All in all highly recommended to discover the south of Mauritius! Thank you very much!

We tried several accommodations during our holiday, but Happy Days is the best. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The beds are big and comfortable and the views from the room are amazing. The breakfasts were excellent. It was possible to order dinner at the hotel. Location of accommodation in quiet location, within walking distance of a supermarket and restaurants. A great starting point for various trips. The hotel staff were very nice and professional and special thanks to the owners Sabrina and Jean-Pierre who are very kind, friendly, helpful and will help you with everything.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and the view was amazing. The owners Sabrina and Jean-Pierre are very friendly and helpful, even as the other staff members who made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The breakfast is delicious (we have been traveling for four weeks and this was absolutely the best). We will definitely come back if we visit Mauritius again!

my experience was incredible in happy guest house, i stay there 1 week, travelling alone, and everything was perfect.
My room (suite one) had an incredible view, large and silent.
Sabrina and JP were great, i had an operation on my last day there in the hospital and they come to visit me at the hospital too !

- The breakfast was very nice. Gregory made us every morning passions fruits, eggs, baguette, crepes and juice.
- We also take two times the opportunity to eat dinner. It was great and made by Gregory too.
- The rooms are big and nicely furnished.
- The host sabrina and jean pierre are very friendly and gave us a lot of contacts and tipps.
- The best beach of mauritius (le morne) ist very near (10 Minutes by car)

It was very nice accomodation. You need to have rental car of course, to have the mobility for exploring the south part of the island.
Only problem are dogs in this area, some nights are very loud and thats why you can not sleep well. But that is problem of the whole town. I stayed here for second time and it was the same, or maybe little bit better than 4 years ago.

I could not recommend The Happy Days Guest House more. The location was great and the facilities were excellent, we loved our room with views over the île aux Bénitiers. The best part however was absolutely the team. Jean-Pierre and Sabrina were so kind and helpful - no request was too small. The food was also delicious, breakfast every morning was incredible and we even stayed and ate a fresh dinner with the other guests one evening which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had fresh fish, vegetables, coconut icecream and local rum. A 10/10 stay, I wish we could have been there longer.

The house is very nice with a lot of space and new equipment. We stayed here with my friend for 3 nights during out 2 weeks trip on Mauritius. Our room was really nice with big clean and beautiful bathroom and huge terrace, where we used to do some exercise in the morning. There is also a common space around the swimming pool to stay and relax. Breakfast was delicious, we were asked what we want to eat, there were fresh friuts every day, coffee, tea, oats with milk etc. And hosts are great, nice and helpful. Many positive energy here.

The view from the room is beautiful, the cook, Gregory, let us choose what we wanted to eat and made us a wonderful diner, you won't regret your stay !
La gaulette isn't quite lively, don't plan to go out there, but the location is near from Le Morne and its beautiful beach.
