Location was okay. The gentleman who checked us in/out was very pleasant and seemed to enjoy his job.
Our room was outdated and walls were patched together. The bathroom was poorly laid out and couldn’t get the door shut

Room very clean. Public areas very clean. Polite staff.
No towel exchange unless you went to the front desk twice. Toilet paper also had to ask. Also under renovation.

The breakfast looked good (I didn't utilize it, though, because the motel renovations seem to make everything taste funny). The AC worked great & the bathroom was nice & clean.
With ongoing renovations (which I was unaware of when booking our stay) we should have been given a reduced rate. Everything in the motel had a deep chemical smell (I think it was on account of the new carpeting that was being laid down); the smell permeated all of the food & drinks in our room, that is, everything tasted like chemicals. The wifi/internet connection was in & out, as well. Also: TV channel selection wasn't very good, & the TV's remote was crap.

tires out of walls, baseboards in hallway ripped off the wall, vents, work station, parts, tools in the hallway 3rd floor.
I had to move rooms after unpacking because of no hot water in my room.
everyone put on 3rd floor due to water flooding from 3rd to 1st floor.

The location was ideal for my purposes. Check-in was seamless. Breakfast was decent.
The room was cleaned or sprayed with a product that had an incredibly strong smell. Within 30 minutes, I developed allergy-like symptoms. I am not usually affected by allergies, so this was unusual for me. Since it was past midnight when I got to the room I didn't want to find another hotel, or ask to be moved to a different room. Luckily, I had one last tab of allergy medicine with me that allowed me to overcome the symptoms, and luckily my stay was only for one night to begin with.

there was a roach immediately when we walked in the room and there were jugs of chemicals and stuff in the hallway. it was under construction so it was a mess

Place is OLD. Bed was HARD with STAINED MATRESS. Room location noisy, SLAMMING DOORS CONSTANTLY. CHECKED OUT 2 HOURS AFTER ARRIVAL.

Man behind counter could barely be bothered to speak clearly, never got up out of his chair. I am ex military and expect men to act in certain ways. I understand that this is 2023 and respectful men are hard to find, but they will never go out of style.

Room was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good with several options. Location was great with diner right down the street
The disability accessible bathroom was not doable. There was a tub with bars rather than a walk in shower. It could be used by some but most with mobility issues wouldn't be able to use it. The toilet was a joke. The bar was placed behind the toilet tank on the back wall. Even a person without mobility issues wouldn't be able to reach it.
