Quiet location,

I didn’t get breakfast even though the floor plan posted in my room indicated a dining room, I never saw it. I was provided with a fridge, a microwave, and a kettle. The quiet residential area was a nice touch. The premises were very clean. The caretaker was very nice and helpful.

No meals provided,No phone, No radio, and No TV. Notification of such came too late to cancel without penalty. The floor plan indicated laundry facilities. I was told they no longer provide access to guests and was given directions to a public laundry a few kilometres away. I didn’t go there for a vacation. I was there to make funeral arrangements and attend the service, which made it easier to ignore the lack of amenities.

The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were very good. The place was quiet. There was adequate parking for the facility. The reception person although limited in English was with my limited French able to convey the facilities. Considering the price it is good value.

No one at the gas station could really tell us where the place was. The facility was a former residence for religious personnel and the name does not reflect this. When I tried to find it by name or the street it was a little difficult. There is no TV or internet that was available but the cleanliness of the rooms made up for it.

Quiet, close to everything.
