Super comfy beds! excellent location! Awesome facility with areas to relax, play pool and enjoy the fire places. Coffee shop within the hotel was very convenient. Friendly staff!

The road noise was quite loud. No gym/fitness center, coffee shop closed one day.

The outside space was nicely done and the staff were friendly and helpful. The loft bed was very comfortable Loved Hermosa Beach area, we were just a bit further from it than expected.

The room was tired, with some superficial (and nice) decoration made to lift it, but still needed a thorough job if it would match the expectation of the photos. Sofa bed was noisy when you moved, but that’s not that unusual. Walls very thin, so the first night we listened to a group of young men from 1-6am and the last night a happy family reunion. Although the outside area was nice, the license restrictions meant you couldn’t enjoy a drink out there. But this probably helped them control the young groups as they are obviously trying hard to keep it from being too much of a party place.

The lobby and outdoor area was nice and clean. No crowds in the pool.

The hallways were not clean, the sofa bed was unpleasant to sleep on. The room felt cramped and not comfortable. The restroom was not nice and the staff at the front desk was unavailable. We had to wait long periods for somebody to help us with towels or questions.

Very late check-in 4:00, older hotel very expensive for what you get. 1 ply toilet paper was ridiculous for the price you pay.

near the beach without all the hustle of the touristy area. you have an amazing logo. staff was great - friendly, accommodating, welcoming to guests, looked you in the eye while talking to you.

were were checked in a few hours late bc the hotel was behind on cleaning rooms. however it gave the ability for the staff to shine and be personable in the situation.

it was quiet. housekeeping every day no extra cost.

the parking lot no exit to the left u always had to go around u turns. pool too small compared to pictures. almost like kitty pool. open until 10 am. rooms way smaller than the pictures.

The location is great, local amenities close by.

The walls are very thin between each room so we heard the room next to us till 4:30am!! The loft room is a good size for 2 but not 4 when the sofa is pulled out into a bed.

Super loud guests next door kept us up all night our first night there. We were going to change rooms but they thankfully checked out.

The only thing that I liked about this hotel was that it had an ocean view.

This place looks better in the pics than in person. I booked the Baja Loft Suite and I ended up having to leave. It smelled old. The cool staircase you see in the photos is something out of the 80’s and it is super steep. If you leave something downstairs then you can forget about it. In the bathroom, there were mugshots of rock and roll artists. I had booked this place as a relaxing getaway but I could not stay. I’m still trying to get my money back from the stay. I’ve been back and forth between booking.com and Hotel Hermosa to get my money back after the staff promised me that they would refund my money. I would not recommend this place at all if you are a bit of a hotel snob. As a solo traveler looking for a relaxing,comfy getaway, I did not experience that at this hotel. I ended up at the Marriott around the corner.

Location was great, close to the beach. However the hotel situated next to a very busy / noisy road

rooms are not cleaned, unless requested 24hrs in advance. Even though we did request cleaning service, our room was never cleaned

I cleaned the room before I left which there was no big mess because I am a clean person they didn't refund me my money back and the number they have on file is not a working number ! you can get in trouble for false advertising! I wonder if the know that .
