Location, location, location and value, value, value.

This was not a problem for me, but the location is in an entertainment district; so there are sounds from the bars and live music late into the evening. So if you are sensitive to sound be prepared with ear plugs, noise cancelling headphones, whatever.

The location is great and the beds are comfortable. The staff is really nice and friendly

You have to realise that this hostel is above and beside bars, so it can get noisy. Something that you can easily sort with some nice earplugs that you can get for free in the office. Breakfast is quite poor, there are some pancakes doug and bread and that is it.

Comfy and nice looking room with enough space. Great location - at the beach and close to many dining options and coffee places.

can’t beat the location!! right on the pier. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the view from the room, and the breakfast was nice.

the carpets were a little old, so definitely wear shoes in the room. also, they were playing loud music in the morning which was a bit annoying but not a deal breaker!

- The location is absolutely amazing, right by the beach and all restaurants. - The hotel seems very safe, doors are locked at all times and to be used with your hotel room key. Staff is presented for long hours. - The staff was super friendly, kind and very helpful. - It's very affordable stay at a lovely location, so for what we were looking for (to sleep and have an occasional shower), it was absolutely great! - Be aware that the bathrooms/showers are joined for all, but didn't seem to bother us. - The bed was very comfy, there was TV in the room and heater if it got cold.

Solid central location right at Hermosa beach. The west facing rooms have a direct view of the ocean. You can't really ask for it being any more affordable.

The limited sink and bathroom space can be an issue when the hostel is more full, long waits for showers are possible. Overall the place was not the cleanest and rooms are fairly small. The staff seemed to enjoy hanging out more than taking care of the place but they were at least helpful when asked.

Access to the beach. There were many restaurants/bars around, however, had no time to visit.

Had to walk a long way to parking spots.
