Good location. We were in the newer part of the hotel (not that it is new) which we preferred to the older part which was generally around the pool area.

For the majority of our stay the lady manning the breakfast was not very attentive and was not very good at topping items up, and closed the doors quite early and was generally not interested

The facilities were clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was amazing. It was a quick walk to the beach. It met and exceeded our expectations.

It was more expensive than we wanted but less expensive than other places in the area and well worth the price.

The large room. Very clean!

Our room was not cleaned between days of our stay so we had to ask for new towels.

Cleaning of commode was not done one time and the bathroom toilet floor and bedroom floor was not vacuumed one time

The location is good, unless your room is on the side of La Jolla Blvd, and in that case the traffic is loud. The breakfast options were pretty good and there was a variety of egg omelettes, toast, bagels, sausage, yogurt, pancakes, cereal, etc but not much fruit. The room was big with two beds and a couch and parking was free.

I killed a giant cockroach in the bathroom. The baseboards could use a really good cleaning and so could the grout around the toilet. I don't know if it was the humidity or where the air vents were hitting, but one side of the room was pretty hot and sticky. The people above my room were so loud walking. They either had a kid or a dog or both that ran all the time, at all hours. No fault of the hotel but it was not a good experience. The pool area was small but clean. The pool towels were very small and thin. I needed two or three to dry off.

The location was great.

Ants on counter where keurig was upon entering our room. Called the front desk where we were told they had no other room for us due to being fully booked. Offered us $50 off. I didn't appreciate the manager asking if we had open food in the area when we had barely checked in as if we had brought this problem on. All of our belongings still were not in the room. The coffee table was filthy as well as the fridge. The fridge had a bad odor. Room had a mildew smell to it. We bought car fresheners and candles to try and stomach it during our stay. It's definitely not worth $1600 for the stay we had.

It was so peaceful and very clean. The pool family friendly and staff courteous. Breakfast was delicious

Perfect location, really close to the water and good restaurants

It was really nice that they had breakfast but the food wasn’t great quality. Our room had ants and we had to ask it to be sprayed & cleaned.

Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied slightly from day to day to offer some variety. Eugene and the other breakfast staff were great at keeping all the food fully stocked. Huge hotel room and quiet atmosphere.

Parking was rough in small tight spaces. Both ice machines were out. No bathroom fan. We learned to open the window in the bathroom, not the door, to air out the steam because after a shower the steam would set off the smoke alarm and cause it to beep. Refrigerator was dirty.

Access to room was horrible. Parking was at one end with no easy access to the other (were our room was). We two handicapped, had to push luggage carts quite a long was (outside in drizzly weather, up a ramp(using our canes), and THROUGH the pool area To get to the room because we couldn't use stairs. Never stay again. FELL to my knees once in the slippery pool area because my cane slipped.

Nice variety of breakfast items. The first day we stayed the items were readily available, however, the second day we had to wait for things to be replenished, but all in all it was good. Breakfast was centrally located for all guests.

It would be nice if the pool had extended hours, perhaps 8 am to 10 pm. We would have utilized the pool before checkout, but we felt we wouldn't have time since it didn't open until 9 am.

I love that the hotel is clean and close to the beach.

Well, I had an issue with someone parking too close to my car that I could not get in my car. Hotel was not able to locate the party registered at the hotel.

The location was very convenient for our needs. The staff was nice.

We asked for an extra kids bed to be brought up but they never gave it to us. The bathroom had cobwebs and mold around the shower and ceiling vent. The room felt muggy the whole time, the ac never seemed to stay on long. The TV remote didn't have an option to select HDMI input so we could use devices we brought and nobody at the front desk could help. The breakfast was overcooked. The scrambled eggs were like rubber and almost burnt. There were bugs crawling around the coffee station as well. The hallway outside our room wasn't very clean either.
