Bright lights left on all night in landing areas which shines through the curtains illuminating the room when your trying to sleep. Room also very small for 4 people.

Amazing location. Stylish and clean rooms. Small but in perfect condition.

No amenities like a microwave or hot water heater.

Absolutes Plus- denn die können schon mal sehr hoch in Kalifornien ausfallen.Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten im schönen Ortskern von Santa Barbara

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte generell auf unserer Kalifornienreise nicht. Die Hotel/Motelzimmer sind einfach viel zu teuer. Man darf sie einfach nicht mit Deutschland vergleichen :-(

Las habitaciones están bien, aunque son muchísimo más pequeñas de lo que parece en las fotos.

La atención del personal. Llegamos a las 10 de la noche, el check in fue muy lento, el chico que nos atendió no encontraba la reserva y su actitud era de desgana total. Cuando por fin nos dio la llave de la habitación, al abrir la puerta había gente dentro, en la cama! se pusieron a gritarnos y nos dijeron que nos fueramos de allí de forma amenazante. Nos dimos un buen susto y los que estaban dentro imagino que también. Volvimos a recepción y el chico que nos había dado la habitación nos dio otra y ni se disculpó. Muy mal.

Noise from rooms above and outside but that's motels for you. If new double glazed windows were fitted well, that would help.

The room had everything we needed, bed was comfy. Good location. Short walk to sterns wharf and the funk zone

We arrived early and asked if they could store our bags until check but the staff refused. We then returned at 3pm to be told our room wouldn’t be ready for 35mins which was a little frustrating

Clean and great location. Looks as if the place has recently renovated. For a Motel6 this is a good one.

Thin walls, no window/door insulation. You can hear every words from the neighbours. Door has a slight gap when closed.

Motel is very clean and perfectly located, with convinient parking.

The shower was a little dirty.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room relatively clean.

Everything else was very disappointing. Super thin walls. You could hear the cars whizzing by way off in the distance. Whenever the person on the floor above moved around, you could hear the footsteps; you could hear a quarter dropped on the floor. Room was incredibly spartan. They don't even provide in-room toiletries; I had to go to the front desk to get shampoo and soap. Location was also disappointing. It's too far to walk to the main area of Santa Barbara. Nothing interesting in the area around the hotel. You need to drive to get anywhere you want to go. I will definitely never stay here again.

front desk needs to note correct information. housekeeping didn't clean my room. due to front desk not notifying them. so frustrating.

Stairs to your room, no tea/coffee maker in your room. No on-site laundry. Expensive for what you get.

We absolutely loved the location. It was so close to the beach, which was great. It's about a 30min walk to downtown, so we would do that in the evening to go for dinner and then get an Uber back that was only around $8.

It could be quite noisy at times. One night a couple nearby were clearly carrying on their party back in their room till the early hours.

No Microwave, Deluxe Queen had a full bed, no pool after dark, tiny “retro” 60’s size room, 1 plastic chair NO table or 2nd chair in room.

It was by the beach

My room was a quadruple and it was very small, they didn’t let me know that housekeeping was only offered before 10:00 the office was not sufficiently stocked with basic necessities.I’m disabled and I asked for a lower level room to which they didn’t have available. Very disappointing

The property is located a block back from the beach so a great location. It is clean, good towels.

It is over priced for what is on offer. The rooms are small. No toiletries or coffee making in the room (I see from other comments that they are available in the lobby). Lumpy pillows. The pool is very small. Wish I had read into others reviews more prior to booking because now I can see the valid comments. Feel I’ve overpaid and should have booked elsewhere.

The room is noisy. Sound insulation is 0 and you can hesr every word spoken and every footstep outside the room. Furthermore, there is a road and a railway just a few blocks away which you get to hear. Also, the trains blow their horns every time they pass. Thank goodness they quiet down for the night.
