It's an old building that is falling apart. There is an extra fee for your room to be cleaned. The location didn't have its own entrance. You drove through another hotels parking lot to get to an out of the way drive in. The parking lot is extremely bright and the curtains are hard to close. The ac unit is loud and had trouble cooling the room. Lastly, there were a lot of people just hanging out in the parking lot smoking and being loud for hours into the night. This kept you awake wondering if your car was going to be broken into. The breakfast was Jimmy Dean microwavable sandwiches, some fruit, and cereal. Needless to say, we went out for breakfast.

The location was good. There was a Walmart and sams nearby.
The breakfast was bad. There wasn’t really any options to eat, we had to go buy breakfast somewhere. The refrigerator wasn’t really working. The restroom counters were dirty. The ac took forever to cool the room. There was no microwave in the room.

The carpet was dirty and not enough towels for a family of 4. The pool was also closed.

The facility was in a great location and the room was clean & comfortable.
The breakfast was minimal & lacking variety. I know establishments are using Covid as their excuse to cut back but Holiday Inn Express puts Comfort Inn to shame. We booked for the indoor pool & it was closed ... VERY disappointing. The bathroom need some scrubbing & recaulking.

Location was great.
We stayed 2 nights, we did not receive clean towels also trash wasn't taken out. I could've understood if we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door however we did not!!! Disappointing to come back from the beach to an untouched room!!

This was one of the BEST places I've stayed at and we spent 2 night's. The staff went above and beyond what I needed. Brandi was a life saver for me when she helped me print off documents I needed for my cruise. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were big. This will always be the place I stay from now on while traveling to Galveston.

No signage outside of building. Walls in hallways had wallpaper peeling loose. Rooms musty smell, wall near ac had shown signs of rotted being patched poorly.

The front of the hotel was very clean. Good price for three nights.
The rooms were not very clean, rust, and dust. Our last stay upon leaving there was no breakfast available and the lady just sat at the desk like she had no plans on getting up. Did not receive housekeeping or fresh towels any of the nights we stayed.
