Atmosphere

the pool and beach where very nice great for kids. The hotel was very close to lots of restaurants so we were able to walk everywhere.

I had a dirty room for 5 days that never got cleaned even after asking them to clean it several times. I had to go downstairs and ask the front desk for a vacuum and clean towels and clean my own room. I had to have a clean room because my 10 month old is crawling everywhere the carpet had stains all over it, it was just not a clean look at all. The breakfast was not much but some pastries we travel a lot and this is one of the highest priced hotels we stay in so I was just expecting a decent breakfast but all they had was pastries nasty pancakes and yogurt. Overall the convince of the location with the pool and beach made the trip perfect but not sure if I'd pay that much again for this hotel.

paid double from prior stay in July. I understand its spring break but thought it was too much for just one night.

I enjoyed sitting out on the dock late at night and listening to the sounds on the inlet. They were walking around at times making sure nobody was using glass bottles or drinking glasses in the pool and jacuzzi area and that was a good thing for obvious reasons. The hotel was also quiet at the right times with no unnecessary noise. No problems this time with the room keys.

For the second straight year the housekeeping people ruined what is normally an excellent stay. Just like my last visit there was no vacuum, no sheet changes, no new towels, no emptying of the pails, no room maintenance at all now for what I think is now ten nights if you count both visits. This is not a cheap hotel and they need to address a serious problem with the housekeeping people, some of whom are stealing services that guests are supposed to get during their stay. If this happened to me, it has very likely has happened to many other guests. Things like the lack of room maintenance can destroy the reputation of any hotel and that includes this one. They should also do the right thing and offer to make some kind of amends to me for the lack of any room maintenance for two consecutive stays.

It's a beautiful hotel. And you can walk to a lot of places. They've also got their own beach. Hot tub was nice, pool was cool but it is on March.

The breakfast was a let down. First morning no coffee but decaf at 7am. Then the afternoon coffee was cold.

The location was great, with a lovely beach.

The room we had had old stained, dirty carpet. The rest of the room was fine. Breakfast was Terrible! They only had breads, pastries, pancakes, cereal and yogurt. Terrible for a diabetic. They said their shipment of eggs didn’t come in. I find that hard to believe. Hardly anyone was in the breakfast room. I wonder why.

The hotel did not give lotion. After being in the sun I would have liked to put lotion on as I forgot to pack some. Also need a tv channel guide in the room.
