Location, location, location! Plus! Room has full size fridge and microwave.

Needs attention to detail and repairs. A true motel. Just don't look at the condition of the room (I think we had the one room that hasn't been updated!) - the location is worth it!

Affordably close to the beach

Not all featured were working (tv, coffee maker) and could vacuum sand better on the bedroom as well.

I picked your location to be far enough from the convention center (avoid the traffic and crowd) but close enough to get to the convention within half an hour by uber. It was the perfect location.

The shower water temperature switched from hot to cold and back to hot on occasion on two separate days. Fortunately it would last for a minute and switch back to the preferred temp.

Love the entire Vibe! Dog friendly, Big rooms, clean rooms, friendly staff, heated pool, great location close to the beach, and for a reasonable fair price and most of all my dog loves it there!

You can see the beach from your room. My room had a balcony. We had dinner on the balcony, which was cool and cute! The beach is like a hop, skip, and jump away. It has a rustic feel and they have a food truck! If you have a dog you can bring your dog. I was impressed that this is a dog friendly hotel and area, but it doesn't smell like dogs. Amazing location, amazing price! There's is a very active social scene at night.

Some of the features in the room look a little dated, but it looks like they're remodeling, room by room. There is a guy who was also next to the stairs smoking like a chimney. Every time we left and returned he was there. He was friendly enough, but I don't know. As a woman traveling with small kids, he triggered my radar.

Location is so perfect for getting around by car to get to MB or PB plus the freeway. With easy access to the public beach , tennis courts , walk bike , swim it was a great spot.So fun to walk to the designated off/leash dog beach and watch all the cavorting in sand and waves!

It’s location is in the flight path for SD airport which is a busy place. Flights out stop by 11 pm or so and begin before 7 a.m but not bad at all . Like a lot of places in Ocean Beach and Point Loma - it’s a multi million dollar property .

The property was well kept and was a great place to stay that close to the beach.we would definately visit again 🙂 the staff was very friendly and everything about our stay was enjoyable.

Dont get me wrong I highly recommend this place but The parking fee wasnt listed anywhere just added at checkout and after leaving to get dinner there were no spots. Also its very cool that dogs were welcomed but also the 30 dollar fee for a dog was not mentioned when booking

The location cannot be beat with easy access to the ocean and in a fun neighborhood. The staff were all outstanding and so helpful - they really went above and beyond to help make my stay stress free! The new "diner" outside was a great touch and served good food at a reasonable price.

The floor to our room was dirty - I know it is a beach hotel and somewhat to be expected that sand and dirt would be around, but walking on the floors should not make my feet black from the dirt. I didn't say anything to have it remedied (it wasn't that big of a deal to me), just made sure to wear socks in the room.

It was cool having so many dogs around and being so close to the beach. It was easy to walk to some great places too.

It's a little dated. Things are showing their age which wasn't bad but didn't look quite as nice. Didn't ruin anything about the trip though.

Our suite was quite large, and comfortable. It was nice to be able to watch the sunset from our large balcony. The location was good as expected. And they are renovating more rooms so it will only get better. NOTE: the photo I have included of the back of the motel shows a Bible that I did not put there on the ground but was there, which is why I took the picture. I did not see a Bible in our hotel room and have no idea if the Bible came from there.

Even though we had a full small kitchen there were no plates or silverware or cups at all except for just a few paper cups. If somebody has a room that has all of these amenities they're almost useless if you don't provide a few sets of plates and silverware. Even if it's disposable. The shower stall did not have a place to put the shampoo or soap so had to leave it on the sink outside. A small tray in the shower itself would help.

The worst trip of my life

Can't beat the location. There's even a little gate in the back of the property that will put you right out on a beach trail. We didn't bring a pet with us but this place is a dream for families with dogs, even a self serve dog wash station! Pool was clean nice.

Some loud guests but that's not the hotels fault.

Not enough hygiene supplies even when I booked I wrote it on the notes they don't deliver it to the room I have to go to the front desk two times same night one for towel one for hygiene supplies
