Could’ve Been cleaned better

We left a bag of towels and requested toilet paper like they ask you to do on the request sheets and leave it outside your door. We came back from a long day around 8pm and still haven’t received any new towels or toilet paper. The staff didn’t know any answers to anything I asked about the facility. Always 1 person at the front desk so you have to wait a while just to ask a question. The water park was way to small and the rooms were outdated. Our room smelled like smoke when we arrived and had a towel in the toilet. They moved our room but then the ac wasn’t working well. I saw a house keeper and she called maintenance and it was fixed very quickly. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Not worth the money or the aggravation.

There needs to be more tubes available in the lazy River. I would’ve thought there would’ve been more attractions inside but still had fun. The Johnny Rockets restaurant attached to the hotel is absolutely horrible!! Such a shame as it drags down the Great Escape name. The restaurant messed up our order (two peoples), was not busy and had little service, food was bland/lacking flavor for what you pay.

I don’t want to say all staff were unfriendly. Really only one in Particular. Steven in the water park. Very aggressive with the children and parents. Sarcastic when he told me “that’s common sense”. Very passive aggressive. Seemed angry. Screamed in my face screamed at children. Didn’t know how to speak gently. I understood maybe his job can be difficult but taking it out on the guests is very unprofessional and very hurtful. There is other ways to get your point across besides screaming. He could speak more gently. Especially to the kids they are trying to have a good day we can be safe and have fun without being screamed at by Steven. Everyone else was kind.

The indoor water park was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed it. The kids loved the people that came around dressed in bear and other costumes. They interacted with the kids so well and even showed off their dance moves!

They didn’t have a complementary breakfast which we thought was odd because it was so expensive. The beds were not comfortable at all. They were memory foam but way to soft.

Very clean everywhere. Staff was great, maid service was very good.

Completely cashless, even at the concession stand and arcade. Too much chlorine, family all got rash/burn. Very expensive for what there is to do.

Perfect weekend getaway.

Excellent place for young children.

bed was like sleeping in a bowl. need new mattresses. restaurant not open any of the 4 days we were there. except for Jonny Rocket !

2 rooms close together, maintenance crew was very pleasant

waited 2 1/2 hrs for 2nd room, sofa beds were horrible, broken refrigerator, all large water slides closed for pretty much most of our stay, Wi-fi kept going in and out

it’s under an hour to get to & the kids always have a great time in the water park & the arcade

Have consistency in rules being either unforced by all staff or not unforced by all staff at Waterpark. Goggles first night ok , rest of stay not allowed. Bringing in outside food and beverages. I saw it time after time all three days in the Waterpark The door on room 407 and others need serious repair. Had to have grandson push open and then to shut it he had to lift up before shutting. Had I been there by myself I would have never been able to do it.

The hours open for the park were convenient

The breakfast buffet started about 15 mins behind scheduled time and although there were a good amount of choices, the taste wasn’t very good. The room wasn’t as clean as I would like as there were toys and garbage on the floor when we got there and the water stopped completely at one point for about 10 minutes. They definitely needed more help at the food area inside the actual water park.

The 4th floor cleaning lady was excellent! Very accommodating, pleasant and understanding. :)

The tiles in the hot tub were floating around, the hot tub needs fixing. Parts of the floor to the lazy river were missing, needs updating. From Monday to Wednesday the water ski section was closed. Why? The front door to room 461 and 445 did not close properly, had to call maintenance. The TV didn’t work had to call maintenance. The visa system does not sit with me very well as a Canadian. It wasn’t explained at the front desk and was confusing in the Jonny Rocket restaurant.

it’s so long to Waite all room not ready we Waite for room 4 hours my mom was tired so they are so slow so if just on time to go for me so I will not will no newer mistake 2 time I’m not going

room was clean so I like it, beautiful it says breakfast included, so they don’t have any breakfast and all item is so expensive just one candy it was a couple tent buys a selling for $10!
