Toilet didn’t flush. Person responsible for fixing it earlier, evidently decided not to. Room looked like it had been a previous crime scene and housecleaning just wiped it down. Room smelled like bleach (no pool) when we entered. Staff offered to move us (family of 5) from 2 queen beds to a 1 bed room.

I pre-booked and gave notice of ETA ahead of time, grabbed some food to-go and made it to the motel exactly on time, however I still had to wait about 35 minutes just to get in my room despite there being no line. So I'm standing out in the cold at night because the staff member "doesn't know how to use the equipment used in sale-to-sale operations". It almost seemed like he was trying to see how long I would sit there mid-way through my check-in. His name was Jim, and although he offered personable interactions- the inconvenience seemed premeditated and any sincerity about it seemed like rubbish. Once I get in my room it smells horrible and was not even remotely professionally cleaned with hair and dandruff all over the floor between the beds and bed covers filled with cigarette burn holes. I set my now cold food (nachos) on the table and pull the chair out and there is a sticky substance all over the arm of the chair which got on my hands. No worries though, I can just wash my hand with the joke of a soap bar next to the sink before i dig into my nachos right? I know Motel 6 is a budget motel, so I wasn't expecting a resort experience but I can't believe the entirety of the staff I've encountered have not been trained how to properly operate the check-in equipment or to properly swing a broom across a floor and replace linens between guests. Then I attempt to get a bottled water from the vending machine and it's sold out of practically every option with the exception of Sprite- NO water, NO powerade, NO cokes, NO refunds either. The funniest part is that I have to offer $$$ and liability for potential damages to the room but I sincerely feel that this place should be the ones signing a disclaimer for potentially damaging you or your belongings just for laying in the bed, or placing your laptop on top of their disgusting surfaces.

Actually I never hot to stay at either property in LaMesa neither had my reservations. Some one has my money but No room for me. Had to find another property in the area. I'm looking for a refund from BOOKING .COM.

NO reservation was placed in my name now No body can tell me just where my payment is. I need my money refund. USED your service as I was traveling with a terminal cancer patient, and then there was no room waiting for us.

The location is perfect for us. Stores and freeway access is perfect for the beach as well.

It happens at lots of hotels there is always someone arguing with a spouse

The Customer service and the cleanliness of place. I will continue to come and stay here. Employee are very helpful and know what they are doing.

i asked them for a room with two beds and they didn't give it to me

It was not too loud the night we stayed there.

We found red hairs in our beds. None of us have red hair. The cover had cigarette burns in there.

after the whole complaint that i did they gave me another room with more space upstairs still with a view

i had a requested a room on the bottom floor and received a floor upstairs. when i go into the room there was chunks of blonde hair on the ground and the bathroom seemed like if someone had used it. requested to be moved which they did but i have a young child and requested the bottom floor with a view and they had literally gave me room 207 where there is nothing visible pretty much hidden.

I enjoyed being able to make a compromise on my deposit $$ on site with the helpful motel 6 employees

I didn't like how there was only coffee offered to guests self served with no breakfast or any snacks to go with it that's horrible

No carpet made it feel clean! Last minute reservation due to covid. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Fridge and microwave were a nice surprise.

Very expensive for what it is. Motel on the side of a not so nice street with very little around. Limited supplies in the room. Only 3 very odd pillows in a king bed.
