I liked the layout of the room.
The toilet took a very long time to refill. The noise was annoying.

Made reservations on Booking.com but when we arrived there was no reservation for us. They were sold out. Let us stay on phone with booking an hour. 10pm with a 2year old and did not assist in securing a room nearby.

I wouldn’t stay again , the hotel had a weird smell like sewage, we couldn’t get any rest because of the construction and they also failed to tell us the water would be off

I liked the lobby area and how quiet the hotel was. The breakfast was fine, standard buffet.
I didn't understand why a fee of $200 was held for incidental costs, which would be reimbursed, when full payment was expected at the beginning of the visit. Most hotels I've stayed at will charge the fee if payment in full is expected at the end of the visit. There's also nothing mentioned at the time the reservation is made to indicate that payment in full is expected at the beginning. I was also kind of surprised at the quality of the room. It was pretty obvious that the room isn't maintained well.

The staff was nice
I left my grandbaby necklace on bathroom sink and housekeeping lied and said she didnt have it. I know that wasnt the truth because i put it there myself.

Location was convenient.
Absolutely disgusting. Tub wouldn’t drain room smelled like poop. We were moved to the last available room and it literally had a bug in the bed and stained sheets and pillows. We were stuck with that room. The hotel offered a small discount and that’s all. Terrible!

I understand the reduced service by staff due to COVID, but when a customer calls for clean towels and more coffee for the room, they should not be told that you would have to come down to get them. Certainly not at a hotel charging these rates.

Front desk person was extremely rude and very unprofessional. She was not willing to help at all. After I canceled one of the rooms she told me that I had to call booking .com and tell them to call her at the hotel. Didn't allow me to pay cash after I called the hotel ahead of time and they told me yes.

That Ruth Chris Steak house is attached to the hotel.
Checking in our desk clerk was not very friendly, she came across as she wanted to be somewhere else. That have been the case but don't let the customer know you feel this way. First thing in our room it smelled of smoke. i called down to the front office to alert them it was not use, and all i got a short " I've noted it". That night our bed linens smelled and felt musty. We had 2 nights booked and we felt early the next day and did not stay till the next night.
