The Hampton Inn was close to your son house. If we go back to Alexandria, we will be staying there.

The swimming area is pretty nice. The breakfast was good. A good variety of items to choose from. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and clean!

One of the vending machines showed it was working, but when you put money in, nothing would happen. The service counter guy gave me my money back without hassle.

We like that this place is clean and within walking distance of restaurants and bars. We have stayed there before and enjoyed it. Just a little disappointment this time.

The alarm went off at 5:59 a.m. . This made my husband and I both very angry. The people that clean the room should make sure the alarm is not set because of the people staying before thinking it funny to set the alarm for the next guest. Also right outside our window was where garbage cans are picked up and that was at 7:00 a.m. . Next time I will know to ask for a room on the other side of the hall. We said something about the alarm going off at the front desk and the lady working only said "yes sometimes that happens and people do that". That was not a good response.

I liked the hotel. Everyone was helpful and quite friendly and nice. The breakfast was ok. It wasn’t great. The food tasted very ordinary.

I liked everything. The staff was very warm and helpful.

The heated pool was a great surprise. Our rooms were clean and the staff was welcoming.

We were told when we checked in that the breakfast went until 10, so we came down a little after 9. But it was over at 9. It was just an ok breakfast. No bananas or yogurt - at least I didn’t see any.

We asked for a quiet room and was given one with the AC compressor right outside the window! Neither of us could sleep. Plus our shower didn’t work well - it went from very hot to cold if u tried to move it just a bit. Plus the corridors were too cold.

Nicely appointed room, comfortable bed, the staff was very friendly, and there was always eggs and protein along with muffins and such for breakfast.

The pillows flattened into pancakes, and I had to ask that the foot be replaced on the fridge because it kept falling out of the cabinet. That should have been noticed by housekeeping when they cleaned it.

Breakfast is good.

Looking forward to a room with a recliner as my husband cannot sleep flat in a bed due to back issues. I was told this is in the works.
