I was not happy that the person who checked me in forgot to tell me that you must swipe your room key in the elevator to go to your floor. As a result I was stuck in the elevator and freaked out until the door finally opened and I realized I had to swipe the key. This is very important to tell hotel guests Prior to them using the elevator.

When I arrived, the bellhop and the valet were very welcoming. However, once inside, Gilbert was not. I felt like there was racial profiling on Gilbert's behalf. He was not welcoming, did not explain anything to me, and then charged my card $1500.00. When I booked through your site, it was approx. $800. I understand there are resort fees, I looked on the website, and nothing stated to the tune of $1500.00 bucks. When I asked him why and can I get a breakdown, he began to "act" as if he was looking and proceeded to ask me again, "Who did you book through? " Which made me feel like he never pulled up my reservation in the first place. When I showed him my reservation, he proceeded to type nonstop for at least 3 minutes (still with no explanation) before I got really frustrated with the NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I am an assistant manager for a very reputable franchise, and this type of behavior is not acceptable. I left and found a better hotel with friendly, smiling people. This trip was a gift for my graduating senior, and I was inconvenienced for at least 4 hrs trying to find another hotel, not to mention it took an hour to get there from the airport only to have to travel back near the airport to find a decent hotel. I will never recommend this place, especially if Gilbert or others like him are their greeters. Thumbs down experience.

Lobby. It was clean.
I could hear the conversations of other rooms. Thin walls or whatever. Parking was way to far away and excessive in cost for self park. View from my room was a maintenence yard a fenced in courtyard of construction material or material storage area. No view. Ugh

I have been at the the hotel 3 times in the last 12 months. ALWAYS friendly, courteous, helpful staff. Clean and roomy rooms. Coffee maker and wifi always works. Location is GREAT.
No more complimentary water bottle upon arrival (just a nice gesture).

The breakfast was very good as was the service at the restaurant. We enjoyed the pool very much as well - the indoor and outdoor pools.
We also used the valet parking which was very efficient.
For some reason the female change room in the pool was inaccessible with my room key.

Booking.com indicated that they allow pets so I went ahead and booked a room. I called them to give them a heads up on our ETA and mentioned my cats and I was told that they only allow dogs. I told them that it was not indicated in their booking.com listing and I was just told that I could see it in their website but neither the website says they only allow dogs. I asked them why cats are not allowed and I was just told "that is just our policy." I asked them that I have to cancel my reservation and asked for a possible refund and I was just directed to booking.com. It was a strenous back and forth from booking.com to the hotel but they eventually allowed me to push through with my booking. They should probably update their listings and their website that only dogs are allowed and it would probably prevent another situation similar to this.
