the staff are lovely and the location is fantastic

I was moved from Fairfield to a Country Inn on Henrietta due to a water leak. I had to drive out there at 1:30am. the room was horrible—dirty, stained sheets, ceilings is horrible shape etc. difficulty getting to sleep because I was very uncomfortable in this space. I will respond with photos directly to Booking, Fairfield & Country Inns. I paid $450+ for this horrible experience and am so dissatisfied I can barely contain myself—-and as experienced 75year old solo traveler, I have never ever experienced such a horrifying night. I seriously want my money back. and please, no excuses. the normal cost for this room would have been under $200 at Fairfield. the value at Country Inns is certainly lower, and they could not have put me in a more horrible room. I was exhausted and was extremely polite to everyone. but I do put up a good face while seething. FYI I was staying overnight in Rochester to visit my daughter and son-in-law in Corning (and waiting for my son and daughter-in-law who took the red-eye.)who were in a near fatal accident in a truck on Veterans Day and this is my first time seeing them since she was in a coma in ICU at Strong Hospital. she has not been strong enough for visitors due to extensive injuries and severe brain trauma. I didn’t deserve to be treated like cattle in your hands. Bitter? Angry? You bet. And I am the most positive, nice person… so sorry you brought out the worst in me.

too expensive - price surcharge for weekend was excessive . there was a mini bottle of lotion half full which is unhygienic and no other fresh supplies. the shampoo dispenser was broken, as was the plug in the bath which for $700 a night is not expected. staff were friendly but took a long time to check in.

interior was fine

sidewalk from Fairfield to airport covered inICE and snow both on Thursday when I had to walk between Fairfield and airport and the same was true on Friday

Clean, comfortable, excellent desk staff, and the best proximity to ROC.
