Not safe. The door had exposed wiring for key card, metal plate for door held on by ducktape, lock had to be slammed to work, peephole scratched out so you cant see, curtains dont cover windows fully, no fridge, microwave had no turn table, shower head loose.

They didn’t offer the free breakfast an while we was staying they was working on the property sun up to sun down

The first room they gave us was locked we couldn’t even get into the room. We went back to the lobby took 20-30 mins for us to get another room. The ace wasn’t working well. And I think there were bedbugs :/

Too many people on drugs walking through the parking lot every hour of the day an too many people smoking marijuana hanging out in the parking lot making too much noise during the hours when people are trying to sleep

The proximity to the airport.
First, the shuttle. When I made the reservation, a shuttle service was supposedly active. When I arrived at the airport to request the shuttle, I was told it was discounted for the past two months, which was not accurate since I received a message from the property a few days prior to my arrival with instructions on how to request it. Also, the room was non-smoke but it clearly smelled like smoke. The room itself is pretty outdated.

Check in and room assignment worst in all our experiences with Days Inn. Tub base was slippery with no safety rails on wall
for senior guest safety, Floor lamp had no light bulb. Lamp on wall in corner flickered...light bulb was not loose. Did not use for safety sake. We were assigned to 5 different rooms due to uncleanliness after 3:00 Pm. Keys did not work in doors. We were even assigned a room that did not exist on premise.. TV in room 155 did not receive local channels without being a Guru to figure out the problem maintenance man could give us a good answer. All above problems in room 155. 5 trips to office to get settled in for the night. Sorry no more nickels for Days Inn

Extremely run down, bathroom was very dirty with shower knob broken, front desk was not helpful. Did not have any shampoo, soap, and lotion. Asked for toilet paper multiple times before we got any.

Value for money and location to airport
Arrogance and attitude of staff especially the young guy that was at reception when I booked out and waited for the shuttle..he should not be in the hospitality industry and is damaging your image

It was close to the airport and they had a shuttle bus to drive you there.

Nothing was likable, starting with the false advertisement of free airport shuttle. Stood outside on the curb at the airport (CLT) in the cold waiting for a shuttle--every other hotel listed on Booking came by but no Days Inn. Called and was told there wasn't one! In the AM, the Shuttle was broken down. Had to take Uber both ways. With what I paid for that, could have applied it to a better place. I intend to dispute the charges for false advertising.
This place should be reported to the health department. Booking and Wyndham have lost all trust with me. I have never been in a situation like this, so it was frightening. Black mold on the ceilings in the bathroom, lights that didn't work, no heat in cold weather, secondary door lock sprung, had to put a chair against the door so I'd at least hear someone entering. Dirty doesn't even begin to describe it. It was apparent there had been no maintenance in ages. I wondered if it was a by the hour hotel. Continual male voices. Dirty rag on the floor, go knows what from.

Close to the airport, price, room OK for my purpose and clean. Mini fridge and microwave.
Shuttle never showed up even after texting and calling. Had to look for transportation. No soap or anything else on the room, I had to ask for it at front desk. Personnel was not professional and by no means friendly. They were doing just the minimum effort.

This place was horrible. They couldn’t find our reservation and we ended up paying way more that we were told on booking since it was the middle of the night. It smelled like cigarettes. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in my life.
