Clean and staff very nice 🙂🙂

Did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

Room was not clean. Registration was complicated. I had prepaid the room fee for two nights. Our flight from Montreal was canceled and the next available flight was the next day. I had notified the hotel of my change of plans and asked for a change from two nights to one night stay but did not get a response. The hotel clerk could not find my prepaid reservation so I had to pay for a single night's stay. She did offer a reduced rate. Later in the day she notified me that she found the two night reservation. My credit card was billed for $111.60, $50.60 and $253.00. The statement received at checkout shows credits of $253.00 and $38.59 and charges totaling $291.59. Until the credit charges are posted, I don't know what I paid.

Car got broken into the first night. Broke passenger side window and trashed inside. Four other cars were broken into in area hotels.

The property is well located, with easy access to the highway, and close proximity to the Atrium Medical Facility, and downtown Pineville. Good access to nature trail as well.

Hotel is TIRED. Windows are small, rooms are not bright, which was exacerbated by a lack of light fixtures throughout. (we had to PLEAD for lightbulbs! Husband had to "borrow" some from hall fixtures as reception did not want to help). Lightbulbs in the rooms and hallways were mismatched (cool and warm used haphazardly). Worst of all, the service was disinterested and at times rude (not all but two men in particular), shrugging off our polite requests for additional lighting and bulbs and air handler adjustments in the Fitness Center.

The breakfast was actually really good. I was impressed with it! The room was really comfortable. It was spacious, it had a microwave and a mini fridge, and a comfortable bed. The Wifi was fast. The staff was great. Overall a great place to stay!
