The "lady" at front desk was the rudest and laziest person ever. Called down repeatedly and she was hanging up the phone instead of asking me to wait. When confronted about not answering phone she told us to screw off! We called and asked for the manager the next day and he never called back. Never experienced anything like this before. Stay somewhere else.

Rooms were not clean, stains on the curtains, spider web on ceiling, very small bathroom, water does not flush out in bathrooms so taking shower a nightmare experience, water in the shower was yellow, mediocre breakfast, electric charger does not work and staff has no idea on regarding that, check in experience was horrible

Bathroom sink was slow to drain, hot tub was out of order. There was a serious water pipe leaking in the breakfast area. I was told by management that I paid double the rom rate by booking through Booking.com.

Major safety concern in our room (Rm 310). When we opened the door for fresh air, the balcony railing was found to be missing bolts on the top and the the bottom, where it is secured to the wall. There was no notice on the sliding door alerting us not to open the door. The front desk receptionist (an older woman) was very rude. When I advised her of this safety concern, she replied, "why did I open the door? The room was scheduled for construction the following week." She basically asserted that it was my fault because I opened the door. There was no notice on the sliding door alerting us not to open the door. I also asked why we were put in Room 310 with two young children under 5 with such an unsecure railing. Once again, she replied that it's going to be fixed next week. I told her that I took a video of the railing, so no one else should be placed in that room until the railing is fixed. She never replied, *PLEASE NOTE: If Best Western is interested, we will share with them the video of the railing. We understand that there are inconveniences and challenges with such a large scale reconstruction, but some shortcuts should never happen.

There was nothing to like about this hotel or the staff

The hotel was under construction. It was not noted when I called the hotel. There were no lights in the hallways there was trash piled up in the hallways the carpet was bunched up and it was a tripping hazard there was wires hanging from the ceiling. The staff were the most miserable people I've ever encountered at a hotel. The breakfast was cold
