The garden was well maintained. The building is striking.

0 DISHONEST AND SNEAKY: The hotel blocked the review I had written. I had to write to Bookingg.com to get the review put up, the they would not confirm that I had stayed as a guest, thereby blocking my rewards. 1 PET CHARGE: ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS, up from $30. 2 No breakfast available, no dinner, no restaurants at all, but two expensive bars and a barman anxious to go home. 3 The small swimming pool was divided up with a rope so one couldn't swim. 4 The sheets slipped on a plastic undersheet, making for an unpleasant night's sleep. For comparison, I paid $25 two nights ago for my dog , and tonight I am paying $20 for a hotel with a dog park complete with two dispensers with plastic bags to clean up after the dog and two rubbish bins to put the mess in.

bar opening times advertised in lobby of hotel were incorrect and one member of front of house was rude, when there was issue with reservation she called room at 07.15am and was not apologetic when it was hotel error

Beautiful location nice stay.

Stairs in hall meant you couldn't push cart up to room. Hotel is a little isolated.

Location was great, entrance beautiful. It would be nice if there are more seating areas throughout the lodge to sit and relax anywhere or maybe create more common areas closer to rooms that are further away. Loved all the greenery, trees, plants etc...seemed like an oasis. we also felt safe. Staff very friendly. Seating is room was good

Temp in room not comfortable - AC working fine but we could not get it to our comfort. pool was out of service and did not say when we booked it. it would be nice to place those with dogs away from those with no dogs because they stay barking when left in the room. other than the dog barking it was nice and quiet. door hydraulic need to be check so that doors don't slam. Throughout out stay housekeeping did not pick up towels nor did they bring clean ones. We had to request them. We didn't have the do not disturb sign up so that was not the case. It wound be nice to have clean towels upon our return at least the 2nd day. No vent or window in bathroom made it stuffy and maybe add a small hook in shower to hang the wash cloth/face towel. Its the little things that matter.

The location for us was great

The pool didn't open until 9am.

There was a resort fee for breakfast and the pool. There was no breakfast and the pool was closed

There was a water leak in our room and the floor was wet
