Clean and staff was kind!

I had called inadvance to do an early check in but was turned down. Had to attend a funeral there and wanted to freshin-up after a drive. Also, explained to them that I had lost my visa card and asked if it was alright to pay in cash since I didn't have one and the bank was going to rush it to me when I got home. They did have my card number when I made the resos. I'm thoroughly unhappy about this for the person I had spoken to, said it wouldn't be a problem the night before! I'm just about to drop Booking for this inconvenience, for I had NO problem at the Hampton in Sacramento for the 2 nights I had stayed there! I've been a memember of Bookings for awhile and use Booking often, but after this episode in Manteca, I'm almost ready to drop Booking! It was an embarrasment to me with other people waiting to check in!

Staff was so helpful getting us a room that was on first floor and pet friendly! She went above and beyond the call of duty! Amazing, Thank youl Traveling with a pet is stressful enough and having someone help us get appropriate accommodtions was awesomel

Pet fee was a little steep, but I understand that.

I since I’m moving out of state I was really tired and misplaced my carry on bag to the airport so I was worried about that where was it but I found it the next morning

There wasnt anything I didnt like except the pet fee. There was no mention of a fee for pets when booking the room. I thought I was getting a good deal on a room until I went to check in and was met with a $50 pet fee and a contract I had to sign. first thing that the contract says is “this is not a kennell”. I felt that that was pretty condescending towards people who were paying money to rent a room at the establishment. even still I was already there and I let it go. And after we checked out and to my surprise they charged me $75 and not the original 50. So I paid $237 instead of my originally intended $162. I feel a little robbed right now to be honest. it’s a shame because I really liked the rooms and the environment. But that didn’t make me feel like it was worth it. Staff was friendly but give my husband a hard time at the front desk even though I had already shown them my ID and paid the fees they made him sign the contract again. next year we will be looking for rooms for the Fourth of July and will probably go to a different location.
